Vinton, Iowa Pizza Ranch location. Chicken was cold, and breading was terribly dark and tasted like old roasted oil. Definitely not fresh. Salad.bar was Skippy. Green Beans were empty, and the gal just stood and looked and mixed up the juice. There is much better food in Cedar Falls and Cedar Rapids.

My wife and I had supper there and the chicken was BAD.. dry and over cooked. The cost is very high my wife had to pay for the buffet and because she has a glutin problem she was charged an addition $19.00 making her meal cost $34.00 for her alone plus my $15.00 plus tax and all $50.00 almost robbery... will we try again.... not a chance

WE ORDERED FROM PIZZA RANCH TONIGHT AUG 9TH 2024 I ORDERED A REG MASHED POTATO AND A GRAVY I ENDED UP GETTING MY ITEMS IN THE SAME CONTAINER, NEVER HAD THIS WAY BEFORE WHEN I ORDERED IT SO I CALLED AND THE GAL WHO ANSWERED THE PHONE KEPT ARGUING WITH ME BASICALLY CALLING ME A LIAR SAYING THAT THIS IS HOW IT CAME ON REG ORDERS , NO SHE'S WRONG IVE ALWAYS GOT A POTATO IN ONE CONTAINER AND A GRAVY IN A SEPARATE CONTAINER BUT YET THIS GAL TOLD ME I WAS INCORRECT , WELL FYI TO HER SHE'S WRONG ID THINK ID KNOW WHAT IVE ALWAYS GOT , DIDN'T REALIZE THAT THE WE WORKERS WERE SUPPOSED TO ARGUE WITH THE PAYING CUSTOMER , , NOT VERY HAPPY NOR NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL OF HER TO ACT LIKE SHE HAD , I ASKED TO SPEAK WITH NICK THE MANAGER AND SHE REFUSED TO GET HIM SO I WILL CONTACT HIM LATER

This might be the most expensive place to eat in town.
Food was decent for a buffet. Service was terrible. Staff walked by tables multiple times without pre-busing ours or other tables dirty dishes. Then finally as we are about to get up to leave a girl came to get our stack of around 10 dirty plates. I actually wait tables during a lunch buffet...so I was pretty irritated by staff just walking past dirty dishes.
EDIT: Big changes with this place in the last few years. The tables are swiftly bussed and its usually a lot of choices, the food is good and the tables are cleaned off quickly. We have had great experiences the last few years. Thanks to my sister-in-law busting her butt in here. Thanks for helping take this place up a notch Laree ♡♡♡ We thoroughly enjoy coming in here now even on your days off. Great job everyone ♡♡♡

We went there at 615 on Wednesday night. We were very disappointed and will not be back. Chicken was over cooked. My son got salad and said it tastes weird I went up and it was frozen in the salad bar. The mashed potatoes looked old and lump. A poor selection of pre-made pizza. I was not impressed with it costing $50 for my wife and 2 kids.

went friday for the fish got there at 12:45 only 2 pcs of fish out asked for more took almost 45 min to get more then only 4 pcs chicken was WAY overdone and burnt on outside mashed potatoes wee dry salad bar looked like last weeks salads won't be going back used to be good food bu not anymore it sucks now

Went today for lunch Buffett and was very disappointed first off yhey ony had 2 pcs of fish left asked gor more they Said woud put in a couple of more took too long to get it was not done and mushy chicken was all overdone tasted burnt potatoes were dry everything was not good dont know what happened but food used to be good there but not anymore we won't be going back service was poor waitress tried to take our plates that we were still eating from salad bar lettuce was wilted anf looked old best part of meal eas the apple dessert pizza
