This is where you go if you want to see the locals rattle each other’s cages. Typical Iowa small town bar with food. I will say the food is elevated though due to the owners significant experience with BBQ. Feel free to park the side-by-side out front & don’t be afraid to join in on the midwestern banter.

Service, atmosphere, and food were all great.

This was my first time eating here and will definitely be back.

I stopped on a Thursday night and there was a lively atmosphere, but not busy as I stopped in beyond the typical evening dinner rush.

Waitress was friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable.

The prime rib sandwich was good and the fries, honestly, were the best fries I have ever had. Fries caught my attention? Yeah.

Good menu. I will have to try the BBQ soon.

I’ll need to come back and actually try some barbecue as this round went with family and tried the broasted chicken. This seems like a great small town option for some bar food. The broasted chicken was good and the broasted potatoes were decent too as they always need sour cream which was extra. The table had three orders of the broasted potatoes and it all came together in one basket which was odd and slightly lazy. We would have preferred to have it separate. My husband ordered sour cream but got ranch instead. They had the typical small town Iowa beer options (no blue moon though) as expected as they are going to serve what the locals want. No beer menu at the tables. Atmosphere is typical bar vibes and the sound echoes did make it hard to hear others in the large area in the back. Buffet on Thursdays and also a car show on Thursday’s- I think once a month - which is a good reason to leave home and take your fun car or check out the cars there.

Had been there twice previously was satisfied took some special friends there Sunday very disappointed they were out of everything the waitress was rude we asked for fish she said they were out and they weren't pulling any we chose tenderloins and a pork sandwiches the pork sandwiches were very good The tenderloins were terrible Old grease overcooked then we find out it cost us $1.50 to have lettuce and a tomato unbelievable no side with them or nothing were included in the meal very disappointed we will never go back and neither will our friends very disappointed

1st time there, on 7-02-25 prime rib is awesome!!! With salad bar and rolls. Waitress Tiffany was the best. We had a party of 13,. Everyone loved everything they ordered and she didn't skip a beat. Thank you sooo much tiffany. Hats off to all people who prepared food

Ordered gizzards. Got exactly 8 grease logged frozen froozen food truck gizzards for $9.. asked for sour cream and ranch and was charged $1.75 for a tablespoon of sour cream and .75c for ranch! $16 cod basket was 6 bites of cod. A little light but acceptable came with less than a small handful of soggy fries. I called them out on Facebook and they blocked me..🤣 I live 10 min away and would have been a frequent customer. But out of principle I will not be back due to obvious price gouging and not being able to take criticism! And judging by lots of other reviews it's a common theme!!

We learned about Kula's about a year ago, & even though it's twenty-five miles from us, we have been back about a dozen times. So far we've tried the wings, tenderloin, burgers & pizza. Everything has been absolutely amazing. They have several different sauces to choose from & their main BBQ sauce is fantastic. Will continue to return on a regular basis & would totally recommend it.

We Went for the Rib Dinner, it did not disappoint. Ribs were tender with the perfect amount of flavor. The sides were very good. We also ordered an appetizer and dessert which were good. We sat near the Bar area, and had excellent service. Good drinks!
