Dale is second to none with his service as the store manager at Hy-Vee. He even took time out of his busy day to deliver our initial stock of food earlier this week, directly to our softball complex. He always makes sure we have what we need. We love using him and Hy-Vee for our concession stand inventory all season long! 100% recommend Hy-Vee in Washington for anything and everything you need. 👏👏👏

I'm just wondering how others people feel about Hy-Vee going to all self checkouts. I think it's pretty sad when you can't even have checkers to check you out aisles. I know it's corporate and it's greed as far as I'm concerned. But how about those people that cannot access or use the automatic checkers .what are they supposed to do My case I have a blind husband. Other people are in wheelchairs. They you get to back up their own groceries also. They're not paying me to bag up the groceries so why am I getting stuck with it?
Hy-Vee motto always been a smiling every aisle so now we have no smiling cashiers up front, do we? It's not that I'm against self checkout. I think they're very handy when you only have one or two items, but how many of us that go through Hy-Vee have cart full of stuff? What about those people? I guess the smile in all and customer service isn't something Hy-Vee interest in doing anymore?

I placed an online order 152.78 they were out of items so my order picking up was 92.00 THAT IS OK BUT they took the full amount refunded 60.78 was happy to see but then they took out and im fighting to get my money back aisles online.... its not working out too good for me. order picked up at 10 Am 4-7 i called bookkeeper and she told me that they would not have taken the full amount out of my account but i sent her my bank online showing THEY DID debit 152.98 so overnight the 60.78 rolled back into my acct i called barb on 4-8 and told her we was good till i looked online at 4-9 they had 152.98 i called a mgr because barb had thursday off at washington he told me he would call and get it corrected and tell barb the next morning i waited till 11:00 am on friday now the 10th and she knew nothing about it took my card info and said she would credit it back .... this has been a nightmare. i will not do this again.
