After a wrestling tournament, we went inside and ordered our food at the kiosks. There were several customers ahead of us who had already ordered. We waited over 30 minutes for one kids’ meal of chicken nuggets, which is ridiculous.
When the manager, DJ, finally came to the front, he said they couldn’t see the orders in the back. He started issuing refunds, then realized nearly 20 customers wanted their money back. Instead of fixing the problem or helping get food out, he said he had to clock out and walked out, leaving everyone standing there with no food and no answers. Completely unacceptable We are from out of town and will never be back.

Today marked 4th screwed up order of 5 visited in the last 2 months. Completely handed us the wrong bag of food coming through drive thru and didn’t fully listen to order when being placed. At current rate they would have been better off leaving it closed

My wife went through the drive-thru. She in line for a long time and she said she could see the car in front of her were arguing with staff. Finally she paid with a credit card and when she got our food she was given 5$ in cash back. Yeah, I don't understand that part even after they explained it. Anyway, when my wife got back to the house, we saw they only gave use hotcakes and sausage and two breakfast burritos we didn't order. We ordered two Big Breakfasts, and drinks. We got one hashbrown.
When I called them they told us to come back to the store and get our eggs. It was -8 outside. They called us back and kept asking what the cost of our order was, I didn't confirm the price they were saying, I just told them what was wrong with our order and asked why my wife was given back cash when she paid with credit card. 5$ their answer was that their customers get angry about the 3-5 day wait for the refund. I am assuming they did not know to refund the credit card. I explain we are not concern with a 3-5 day wait for a refund...I mean...it takes 3-5 to hear back from anyone.
They both said they were managers but neither one of them ask for our names so they could make it up to us if we ever came back to the store. Most likely won't return...but that is the general experience when eating at McDonald's in Washington, Iowa.
I can only imagine the reply to this review will be...if any.

As always fast , food and hot food . I purchased the double quarter pounder with cheese and a made a meal of it with a large iced vanilla coffee, i told them how I wanted my coffee a d the made sure they had it right even asking me at the window if it was how I wanted it . I happily give them an A+ nice and friendly, paid attention to detail and the food was hot and fresh and ready to go

Went through the drive through Line and the person who was taking my order was very slow waited 15 minutes to finally get everything ordered had to re order 3 times because worker couldn’t get our orders figured out I finally get up to the Pay window saw his name was Austin W. Then he proceeded to greet me with a very rude attitude and tone mainly the reason why I’m writing this review acted like it was my fault is to why I was sitting trying to order 3 different times completely unprofessional
everything was great but the food. employees where friendly but the fries was cold and hard just like the chicken nuggets and I didnt get anything sauce either

Absolutely nobody will appreciate the renovation. I go to McDonald's for burgers and fries, not whatever they think the renovation will improve. It was already good before the renovation with good food and awesome staff, and whatever the renovation is trying to fix can't be justified by demolishing the place for half a year. I gave the atmosphere one star because the horrible renovation leveled the McDonald's to the ground and there's no atmosphere to speak of.
