Twice in a row they got the pizza wrong, called back the second time and the lady was super nice and offered to remake the pizza and that we could keep the other. Then a different person called and was super rude and said that she cut the pizza and knew it was alright and that our pizza was good enough to eat. Delivery driver is always great, not so much the lady who called us.

Delivery took awhile but that was my fault. Driver was polite. The phone operator couldnt hear me very well and had a static noise in the background.

The food was subpar. Wings were good but the brownie was ok and made me feel sick. There was no paper under the pizza?!? I don’t know if that’s a pizza hut thing but there needs to be a paper under the pizza to stop the cardboard box making the pizza taste bad. The pizza was still good but could have been better. 6/10

Edit: My stomach is killing be. Do not eat. I’m in pain

Almost every order we have placed in the last two years has been incorrect! Not exaggerating at all. I just tried to call and ask if they were going to be open on Easter and nobody would answer the phone, I called multiple times. The Washington Iowa location is a complete and total joke!

Awesome place to work and eat

Servers were awesome. Good was alright but not worth the high prices. $2 a wing is outrageous. Sorry PH, probably won't be back.

Waited 40 minutes after the time we were told it was ready for pickup. Thankfully they made it right by giving us our pizza free. This has happened 2 out of the 3x I've been here.

Went there Saturday evening. It wasn’t busy at all but part of the order took over an hour to come out and the staff was absent when needed. I didn’t care for the attitude from one of the staff. Is there not a manager for the evening shift?? No one is watching these kids? I’m not a fan of Casey’s pizza but it’s better than this Pizza Huts pizza! We will NEVER go back.

I'd like to thank the Washington Pizza Hut for reminding me why I rarely go out to eat anymore. Saturday evening around 6pm and the place is dead with only 1 couple there, they left shortly after we got there. We were a party of 5. We ordered 4 personal pan pizzas and 1 single chicken Alfredo. 1 order came out, and then a few minutes later, 2 more orders came out, and the last 2 came out about 10 minutes later. We were told that they made the last 2 pizzas wrong, so that's why it took so long, and even then, 1 of the pizzas was STILL wrong. The waitress took it back. Fast forward at least 20 minutes and the final personal pan pizza still hadn't been brought out. 4 of us were done with our meals at this point. After waiting a little longer one of us went up and had to get the attention of one of the waitresses in the back to ask about the pizza and she said that it's sitting here (in the back).. and asked if we still wanted it..? Yes? We came here to eat a meal together and we had paid for it already. Why didn't they bring it out when it was done? When asked if we could have a refund for that pizza for the inconvenience we were ignored but didn't push it since we just wanted to be done. During that time 2 of us had placed online orders to be ready for when we left. Those took forever and had we known how bad the experience would be, we would have ordered from Casey's instead. A 2nd waitress told us the final order of 3 pizzas was being boxed up and it would take 5 minutes...15+ minutes later we had to ask about the order again, and the waitress said "so you want to place an order?" NO, we want the order that has already been placed and paid for online AND that we discussed with you 15 minutes ago. The 1st waitress came out and started aggressively bussing our table while we were still sitting there and drinking our drinks AND waiting for the online order. I told her that she had a bad attitude and as she walked away she said "just ignore it then" lol not sure what I was expecting her to say but she was hilariously rude every time she interacted with us (there were 2 waitresses, one slightly less rude than the other). They weren't busy as we were there for about 2 hours (not by choice, we could have been in and out in less than an hour had the orders been correct and the staff been more attentive) and were the only people there besides one guy who had walked in and that other table who was gone already. We heard a dispute between that same waitress who bussed our table and another staff member about paying for his pop (he wanted to pay and the waitress didn't understand why..he explained because he was taking it to go and not drinking it while at work so perhaps thats the policy? Surely she wasn't insisting he take it without paying? Kinda seemed like it) There was alot of eye rolling and sarcasm during that interaction that probably should have happened in the back. Maybe they aren't used to having customers within earshot? It's amazing the conversations you hear when the building is practically empty besides staff. I recommend eating anywhere else in Washington if you care about your time, money or having good customer service. Perhaps the owner should consider getting rid of the dine-in service and focus only on delivery to save everyone the headache. The best thing about this experience was leaving.

Ordered a medium hand tossed pizza. It wasn’t fully cooked as crust was doughy on bottom with hardly any sauce.

42 years ago I worked at a Pizza Hut in Mt. Pleasant Iowa. That place was usually standing room only to wait on a table every Friday and Saturday night. It's sad to go in and the place is typically mostly empty as it was this past Friday. For being the only table in there usually, it's bad when they can't even get the salads out before the pizza. I remember back in the day when we brought small glasses of water and the silverware rolled into napkins first thing to the tables with the menus. Depending on what they ordered, I'd take the right number of plates out shortly thereafter. Now, they bring the pizza but we have to go up and ask for plates because they never returned with any! Hopefully you get your salads first but not always as we found out. Then we go to eat the pizza and it is literally cold, not even a bit of warmth to it. How is it that we are the only ones in there and our pizza is cold by the time they brought it? Even then, I damn near choked on the thin crust with just 2 toppings because it was so dry because they put sauce on so thinly on just one side and the first 2 pieced were devoid of sauce and just blah tasting. I remember when Pizza Huts had a nice salad bar and the place was pretty busy over the noon hours during the week because people could get a small salad with sides and a small personal pan pizza for a decent price over their lunch hour because it was pretty quick service. Not too mention the food was great back in the day. I used to love their cavatini, but the comparable dish they have today is very blah tasting by comparison. Well times sure have changed and definitely not for the better. Had bad service like this not happened before when we were here, we would have gone back, but we left and my husband said he was good with never going back there ever again. I agreed. I'd rather hang on to my memories from days of old, than continue with all the negative experienced making bad memories that we have got in recent years at the Pizza Huts we have gone to. Pizza Hut should have stuck with what made them who they were in the first place.
