I got a cappuccino and an almond pastry. The almond pastry was tasty, the cappuccino was not. I think big foam can be a preference, but it’s more “hip” to steam the milk to a microfoam consistency. Also the espresso shots tasted… mute, monotone… bland.I don’t know what kind of work the owner has put behind bean selection and barista-type training. Gina is the best! She and her husband are so personable and do an awesome job with this quaint little coffee shop in downtown Washington. The coffee is great! The smoothies are tasty and the service is impeccable!
