First time I ever visited this place. We did it as part of the group ride. The bartender's handled our group with ease, and the buckets of golf balls to hit into the river, how cool is that. We will definitely be returning sometime soon
Out of the way pub is the perfect description for this place. The building is interesting as it sits high in the air, they have your standard selection of beers you'd find at most bars, they have decent food, bartender is friendly, and service is decent too. Prices for both beer and food is moderate. Note: This place is in Coppock, IA not Wayland, IA. I've been to both towns. Well we only use this spot for exiting the skunk normal, this day we entered there we started around 6-630am that morning and it was a beautiful day/morning. Took us 6.5 hrs that day to go from the eagles nest to mac coons
