First time eating there brought wife and daughter in. No greetings unfriendly was surprised by nothing on tenderloin or chicken sandwich did not know nothing came on them or was asked if we wanted anything on them service was slow the female with cowboy boots on sounded like she was stomping through out the place. I found it just rude to not say anything but the price of the meal even when food was brought out and I said thank you no response. I am thinking maybe they don’t like a mix marriage couple in there. It’s a shame I am all about supporting local but not here. Moving there in August just was shocked about a small town local place treatment.

Absolutely loved this place! Super cute Mom and Pop little fast food restaurant. The prices were great and the food was good quality for how much you spend. They have many different food options and several desert options. I got the soft serve vanilla with blackberry. It was so nice to get a large cone for under $3. It's very difficult to find these kinds of prices anymore. Right around the corner of the block is the Herbert Hoover National Historic Park. The Park is why we were in the area and we wanted to walk through the little town when we stumbled across this place. Both places are a nice place to take a quick stop if you are driving by. If I lived here, I would go to the place all the time.

I really wanted to enjoy this local restaurant especially being new to the area. Unfortunately it fell short. I had a friend visit me and was excited to try the food and of course the ice cream. We came in to a young gentleman and lady and we immediately felt unwelcome and uncomfortable. No greeting, no smiles, I even asked for recommendations and nothing. We decided to dine in. There was no ice for the drink machine. The lady brought us our food and I smiled and said thank you and still nothing. I thought maybe she was having a bad day. Another couple sat down and their food was brought out and she spoke to them. At this point as a woman of color and my friend being visibly a member of the lgbtq community that is the only thought that came to my mind as to why we treated the way we were. I have had nothing but great encounters in this small town and this was my first bad experience which sucks because I was excited for this one. When it comes to the food it was okay. I did enjoy my ice cream.

Great local shop! We visited while in the area. Prices were very reasonable and everything tasted great. The employees were helpful and polite. Nice deck area on a cute Main Street and inside seating as well.
