I stopped at this McDonald's after medical visits in Iowa city, and this time, it was pathetic trash all overflowing . The bathroom was unbelievable piss all over the floor, and the health inspector needs to close this place down

This restaurant had an extremely dirty restroom. Toilet paper everywhere, toilets hadn’t been clean in who knows how long, and the countertop was overflowing with water and soap. The sink was very grimy. If I had seen that before we got food, I would not have eaten there.

We are not used to using a kiosk to order our meal. There was a register open but no one manning it so we tried the kiosk. Of course we had problems with the order so we tried to get someone’s attention to help us and they were too busy joking around and talking with their friends to notice. I understand that times are changing but the older generation could use a little more help until we understand it. The manager on duty was pretty indifferent to our situation and pretty much told us to catch up with the times!

I just ordered food at the west branch location and I’m seriously impressed. Lately, any McDonald’s I visit has been less than edible, but the one in West branch is killing it. The people there were super nice super fast and the food was Actually, very good. Great job to the staff working late tonight!!!!!

Almost never go to McDs & thus experience is supportive of not going. Pulled up to inside drive thru lane speaker....waited....waited...about 60 seconds later a car pulls into outside lane & employee answers/takes order, so I park to go inside. Nobody at register ever, so go to the kiosk...order meal & sandwich order WITHOUT ketchup or mustard add light mayo. Waited a full 9 minutes for my order. Employee hands me bag & walks away...no "Thank You!" No confirmation of my order, just hands a bag. I stopped her (interrupting their party in back) & reported the drive thru issue...she didn't care...made a face & walked away. Grabbed my own cup..because it's self service now...and proceed to get UNSWEETENED TEA. NOPE!! It was Sweet tea. Marked wrong. My sandwich...ketchup & mustard on it. Horrible. Absolutely worthless & cost $14 And people think fast food employees are underpaid?!?! I would not pay someone $5 for that food/service.
