We had a wonderful first-time experience at Serving Cafe. The staff are lovely and kind are they will go the extra mile (or five). I’d recommend a latte and the Break The Fast Sandwich (the bacon jam is amazing).
We had just put in our drink order when they asked if we’d be okay moving two tables over, which wasn’t a problem at all. They brought out two warm cinnamon rolls for the “inconvenience.” Unbelievably considerate service. And the cinnamon roll was perfect - dense but still fluffy. :)

The Southwestern salad was delicious. I'm a vegetarian and this option was excellent. 🥗 (Also, thanks for the no cheese option as I only consume organic dairy.) I love the atmosphere in this cafe, as well as their hospitality vibes. The space is free of unnecessary distractions, is well-lit, and sanitary. West Branch is an inviting place and this cafe is certainly a highlight of the area.

Great stop! They accommodated our request for grilled cinnamon buns and these were extraordinary! Great feel to the place, lots of light and some open windows, with the town park across the street. Food was very good and reasonably priced. They easily accommodated special requests. The serving time was a bit slower than I would expect at a breakfast place. Appeared to be female owned and run business. The cleanest and best appointed bathroom I’ve been in on the road. Definitely worth going out of your way for, and if you are short on time, they clearly do a brisk takeout business.

Great food and the staff was very friendly! Had the Monte Cristo. It was delish! Mrs Redtail had the pastrami also a solid choice. We shared and enjoyed the outdoor area.

I call ahead, and they have my latte ready when I come thru the drive thru. It makes it convenient for me and my pup to swing by and grab coffee on the way to the trail. Other times I go with a group for breakfast after our workout on special occasions. The avocado toast with a side of bacon is the BEST!!

First visit; sampled a cheese danish and "The Classic" breakfast, a long with a cherry vanilla chai. Everything I tried was delicious, and the fried potatoes are aMAzing. The service was attentive and friendly, and this place just has general food vibes. highly recommend!
It will be up to you to decide if the service or food is better. Both are incredible, cinnamon roll may be one of the best available. Service is friendly, fast, and prices are just right. WB lucky to have.

I don’t leave reviews that often, but needed to here. Firstly the food and drink is great, but that’s table stakes. The thing that struck me here was just how pleasant, friendly and kind all of the employees are. The space is also super clean and it’s obvious that everyone cares deeply about what they’re doing there. Just a nice thing to see, and very appreciated. Good place to stop and support if you’re in the area or visiting the Hoover stuff.
