This pizza used to have a great flavor, an restaurant used to be clean, I really don’t think I’ll call this pizza my favorite again until this establishment cleans up an starts making pizza like they use to, I give it a 1 star out of 5 , 1 for taste and 1 for cleanliness

My husband and I were looking for a wood fired pizza place around the Des Moines metro and this place is by far the best we've had and we've tried quitw a few places. We drive 25 minutes across town to eat here!
The sauce is wonderful! Toppings are always good. This is our second time coming and will NOT be our last.

7 Stone has been our favorite pizza since we discovered it a couple of years ago. However, the last two pizzas we ordered have had way too much sauce and toppings which makes the usually crispy crust really soggy and therefore the slices are difficult to pick up and eat without most of the toppings sliding off onto the plate. Also, the last pizza we ordered had sausage on it which was either overcooked or had been previously cooked and then cooked again which made it very dry and tough. Up until these last two orders, the sauce/topping to crust ratio was absolutely spot on and all the ingredients were really fresh and cooked well. Not sure what is happening there but we will try it one more time and hopefully it will be awesome again!

Seven Stone has the best pizza, I’ve been a customer since they opened. Tonight, The pizza was sub-par, under cooked and our cheese sticks were dry and the cheese was burnt on the top. My husband waited 30 minutes in line to pick up our order that was ready at 6:45. Carry out needs to have its own line, it’s been a mess since they opened, and nothing has improved. Please consider updating your service. Carry out is a huge part of your business, but paying $40 for undercooked and dried out food isn't worth it.

A couple is things off the bat. There is no delivery service available. The pizza is very good but the prices are a bit high. If you dine in you need to serve yourself. You get your own plate, silverware, napkins, drinks. At this price point I expected dine in service. Otherwise nice place with good pizza. Locally owned!!!

My wife, kids, and I came into 7 Stone for dinner for the first time because the pizza looked good in the pictures. The cheese bread was really good. My kids got a cheese pizza and they liked it, which is high marks for my picky children. My wife and I ordered a beef pizza and the crust, sauce, and cheese were good, but the beef was not good. I did not taste any seasoning, it tasted like someone completely forgot to add even salt and pepper. This alone made the pizza only mediocre at best. I would be willing to try some other toppings because the basic cheese pizza was good, but I hope the seasoning is better.

Be prepared to wait. We ordered at the counter at 5:25 on a not-busy Sunday evening. We got our deep-dish pizza at almost 6:00. We also built our own pizza, and it looks like we were way overcharged based on the number of toppings we chose.
