The best lunch buffet of all time. Everything is very fresh and the items change weekly. There is also something new to try and the flavors are amazing. Rob has the best hospitality and always make sure everybody is comfortable and is taken care of. Thank you!

Our food and service were both great! What makes this place stand out to me is their character. I unknowingly left my purse there and didn’t realize where it was for 3 days. When I called, they were so helpful and accommodating! I live 2 hours away and knew they’d be closed by the time I could get there. The gentleman said not to worry and he stayed there, despite being closed. I would support anyone with a business model like this over and over again!

Food is prepared great, but chicken quantity is extremely low. As a matter of fact after checking with all the Indian restaurants, i found that this restaurant gives the least amount of chicken. Ngl, the owner is stingy as hell. Recently increased prices for all items by a dollar and reducing chicken quantity even further. Literally counts 3 tiny pieces for each dish. Please dont encourage this behavior and try to find other restaurants. The owner keeps getting arrogant as more customers come in.

I ordered chicken 65, it’s literally not worth it. They gave me fried chicken without any salt and spices , don’t waste your money on this

Enjoyed this weekday expansive buffet a great deal, and looking forward to visiting for their dinner menu. Immaculate, great customer service led by manager Robbie, and a vast number of tasty buffet options, Bawarchi is a well-priced place. I sampled more than 10 offerings, and they were all delicious!

best Indian food in Iowa!!!! No other restaurant comes close, food is excellent, service is amazing and staff are super friendly. Portion sizes are very generous and food is made exactly to preference. No other Indian restaurant is worth going to after eating at Bawarchi.

I’m a regular at this restaurant for lunch, and it always exceeds my expectations! The buffet offers an amazing variety of dishes, with something new and exciting to try every time. This place has become my favorite go to restaurant in all of Des Moines I mean the food is so Amazing!!! And the team is fantastic!!! You guys always make me feel at home when I come there to eat!!! I’m looking forward to coming back for some more your off the charts delicious food and drinks!!! Thanks for having me!! Happy New Year!!! I would definitely recommend this wonderful Establishment!!! I tip them $10.00 every time I go there because they deserve it!!!!!!
Vegetarian options: They can pretty much make anything vegetarian just don’t have the meat they make both dishes with and without meat!

Chicken 65- 1/5 . Chicken 65 felt like chicken pakora, hard and very oily.
Mutton Biryani - 2/5. Rice was good. But motton and biryani had no flavor. Mutton was not well cooked as well.
Butter chicken - 3/ 5. Curry taste was good.
