Server was beyond rude all evening. I asked her if we could check out she said “ABSOLUTELY” ( in a rude tone) I finally asked her what the issue was, she ignored me. I asked again and gave me a rude look and asked if I wanted to see the manager. She then got the manager. We talked, he said if there was an issue we didn’t need to come back, she continued to be rude and waved bye with a snarky look and a rude tone.

I was looking for a unique place with a plant based option in the Des Moines area. They had a really delicious vegan sausage pizza and hummus. The dough they make has a really nice chew to it, and it is cooked to perfection. Along with the really tasty food, they also have 100 beers to choose from. There are lots of local beer choices from all around Iowa. They also have crowlers that they will fill and cap for you at that moment. If you're in the area, give them a try.

Overall good food choices, a huge selection of beer, and friendly staff. We're happy to have it in WDM!The only note that isn't worth dinging them on is that they offer 4-5 SALT entree options (their conjoined dining establishment), but the dishes I've had haven't been worth the significantly higher price

Love this place! It is foodie meets casual bar. GREAT selection of on-tap items, I especially loved having so many sours to choose from. We had a prosciutto, arugula, oregano, parmesan pizza that was delish! We'll be back!

We went for the first time today. My husband saw they had not just a vegan option but multiple things for me to pick from. I ended up getting the veggie burger and the Brussels sprouts as my side. The veggie burger was very good. The Brussel sprouts were one of the best I have had. My husband had the smash burger and fries. He said the caramelized onions were great on the burger. There was another review that said they only offered a brunch menu when they went on the weekend. That was not true today. We were there right when they opened on a Saturday and they had the full menu. We will be coming back very soon.
I think at times the beer may be stale or the beer lines are infected. Sometimes the beer tastes "off" while the same beer at a different location tastes fine.

Nice selection of beers but food menu is rather small and on the pricier side. I’ve gotten the brussel sprouts before and while a bit boring they are reliable. We’ve also shared a few of the pizzas and while the crust is good some of the toppings end up undercooked. Odd ambiance too, the restaurant has been nearly empty each time we’ve gone.

Impressively extensive beer selection. The regular menu looks interesting, but when we visited there was a problem with the gas in the kitchen and only a much more limited selection was available. My wife had hoped to try their veggie burger, but there was essentially nothing worth eating for a vegetarian on the limited menu, so she just had my fries. That was quite disappointing.I got a flight of four hefeweizens. Two of them were good, the German ones, but I've tried those two before, and these were really flat compared to usual. The Iowan ones were even flatter, like they'd been put in a pitcher and left in the fridge for a couple days, rather than coming straight from the tap.

This was my first time here and I will be back. We went on a Saturday around 4:30 p.m. It was busy due to the popular trio of beer, college football, and the several TV's around the bar, but we had no issue getting a table. Food was great! The only thing I probably wouldn't order again, and this is personal preference, is the poutine. It wasn't bad, just not what I was expecting as it tasted like a BBQ flavor rather than the traditional gravy. The meat and other toppings were great though! Our sever was phenomenal! I wish I would've gotten her name so I could give her a shoutout - she was helpful with beer choices from a wide selection to choose from.
