My favorite place to get an acąi bowl in Des Moines. Everyone is friendly and they have a hearty menu to pick from.
The seating in the back room accommodates lots of guests and group settings! :)

No bathroom access on Thursday is our only concern. I had the burrito and my friend got a bowl. Oh so very good. It felt like a healthy choice and prepared with only well prep natural food. My friend has it every Thursday’s, it was my first time eating here and highly recommend giving it a try.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Big Açaí is hands down one of my favorite spots! The bowls are always fresh, beautifully made, and packed with flavor. I love that they offer so many customizable options so you can build exactly what you’re craving — whether you’re going for something fruity and light or rich and satisfying. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and everything tastes amazing every time. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something delicious and nutritious!

The girls working behind the counter were so incredibly RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. MIA (looked about 12) and SAMANTHA (possibly shift lead?) Awful, awful customer service. By the looks of it based on previous reviews left, this has been a consistent issue with poor customer service. They were not helpful with questions asked. They gave the worst attitude. It took them several minutes to even approach the counter to help us, and the place was empty. The Latina employees that would work in the back were always so nice, so I don’t know if they’re under new management or what the deal is but those girls and their sour attitudes are hurting the business more than they are helping. We definitely felt discriminated and that’s so disappointing.

the açaí bowls are good but last time I went into to order it seemed that the entire staff working that day looked to be about 13 and their customer service was awful. the place was empty while i was there yet it took them almost 20 minutes to make my bowl as I watched the group of girls just talk for 10 minutes then start to make the bowl. Not to mention the bowls are a very disappointing size for the price. They’re good, just wish for better customer service and better portioning.
