Big Acai Bowl - West Des Moines

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Big Açaí is hands down one of my favorite spots! The bowls are always fresh, beautifully made, and packed with flavor. I love that they offer so many customizable options so you can build exactly what you’re craving — whether you’re going for something fruity and light or rich and satisfying. The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and everything tastes amazing every time. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something delicious and nutritious!

Great place to meet up with friends or to get homework/work done. The Acai bowls and food are really great as well.

The girls working behind the counter were so incredibly RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. MIA (looked about 12) and SAMANTHA (possibly shift lead?) Awful, awful customer service. By the looks of it based on previous reviews left, this has been a consistent issue with poor customer service. They were not helpful with questions asked. They gave the worst attitude. It took them several minutes to even approach the counter to help us, and the place was empty. The Latina employees that would work in the back were always so nice, so I don’t know if they’re under new management or what the deal is but those girls and their sour attitudes are hurting the business more than they are helping. We definitely felt discriminated and that’s so disappointing.

the açaí bowls are good but last time I went into to order it seemed that the entire staff working that day looked to be about 13 and their customer service was awful. the place was empty while i was there yet it took them almost 20 minutes to make my bowl as I watched the group of girls just talk for 10 minutes then start to make the bowl. Not to mention the bowls are a very disappointing size for the price. They’re good, just wish for better customer service and better portioning.

I ordered online - power bowl with strawberries, pb, bananas and gf granola… I get my order and it is wrong, no strawberries and WITH chia seeds!! I call the restaurant to let them know it’s wrong and pretty much am told too bad there is nothing we can do about it you will have to contact UE.. why is that their fault?? Why do I have to contact them?? She said we got the order thru the tablet thing we have for them.. ok.. Well I can see what I ordered from them and it’s not right.. u as in the store made it wrong but I have to contact them.. she said the driver picked up two orders so I am not sure what happen. Idc who picked it up and idc who I ordered it from - u MADE IT WRONG!!! This is my fav place but I can say I won’t be going back there again, own ur mistakes and offer a suggestion to fix it, I am sure the owner wouldn’t like ur answer nor have u been trained in that direction!! Customer satisfaction is key to a business and one was just lost!!

In addition to fabulous açaí bowls there’s a really good lunch menu as well with sandwiches,burritos, bowls etc. there’s plenty of seating here especially in the back. There’s areas for kids to run around and play. There were several people working and zooming. The service is friendly. There’s free parking nearby.

Everytime I order from this place there is a screw up. They either forget the pnut butter or the driver cannot locate my address so I have to wait 10 days for refund. The worst part is when you call the resturant they don't care.
