Bravo! Italian Kitchen

Haven't been here in a while. It wasn't even half full on a Friday night. Now I know why. No “hello” or “welcome” at the hostess station. Service was slow. A $25 chicken parm did not include a salad. One can be added for another $7!!! Wine be the glass is some of the most expensive in the Des Moines area. Most staff were dressed for hike, and not for a fine dining experience that the entree prices seem to want to aspire to. The food was good, however.

Got a reservation for seven on a Saturday and was seated in 30 minutes. Food was great and service was good.

This is the first time I have ever posted something like this. My boyfriend and I went to Bravo! Cucina Italians at Jordan Creek tonight to try a new restaurant. There was another couple ahead of us waiting to be seated. The hostess was busy bussing tables. When she finally came over she said nothing to any of us except to tell the couple to follow her. She seated the couple ahead of us and then went back to bussing tables. She clearly saw us waiting and even glanced over at us again a couple of times as i made eye contact with her. She continued bussing tables so we left. I don’t understand why you wouldn’t want to seat new guests or if there was a reason why wouldn’t you let them know. I’ve worked in the restaurant business for 20+ years and this is the worst service i have ever seen. The restaurant was about half full when we arrived.

Our waiter Rafael was super nice, recommended my dinner, and the chef delivered our plates. Excellent experience.

Excellent food, service, and a great experience. The restaurant was alive and had a pre-pandemic buzz just like the old days. Good job Bravo

Nice special for Valentines. Waitress was nice but food, salad and dessert came out all at once and we felt rushed. We would go back and are hopeful thatcher to the holiday they were trying to turn over tables quickly.

Service extremely slow. Took 25 minutes after seated to get water. Table across from us got seated 10 minutes or so after us and were eating dessert before my wife got her salad with entrees coming after her salad.

I have always liked the ambiance of Bravo. They have a great bar if you need to wait. What is always disappointing is the initial service is very slow. Getting a drink order in and waiting to place your food order seems to take too much time. However, once you order, the food comes too fast so tell the waitress or you will get your salad with the main meal: very good food and excellent desserts.

The food and atmosphere is nice. Service was very slow tonight and was lacking. This was our first time coming here and it was just my partner and I. It took about 5 minutes for anyone to acknowledge us and to get our drinks started. We ordered the Margherita pizza for an app and could tell it had been sitting under the heat lamp for some time. The flavor was good, I just wish it would have been warmer.
The wedding soup was delicious and so was the chicken parm. The crème brulee was delicious as well.
I wish the service would have been better, as it didnt seem very busy for the lag on responsiveness.

Did a family meal take out recently. Crispy shrimp appetizer, Cesar salad, Alfredo, bread. All was packed with care and absolutely delicious. Well done. Bravo! ?

Went to have Sunday dinner with my family, walk in, and it's very hot! Not sure if the AC was working but is was very hot, which would explain why the door were wide open. Waiter was slow, flies constantly flying over the tables, outside of that, the dinner went well. The score would be a lot higher had it not been for the extreme heat and flies. It was a rather uncomfortable dining experience.

I can't say enough good things about my experience. Christina went above and beyond in every way! Her attention to detail and genuine care was incredible! I appreciate this type of positive experience so much! We’ll definitely be back!
