New set up is terrible and the employees here are insanely rude and lazy. I had to get out of my car to pick up my order because the new set up I can't get close to the window area and they wouldn't bring it out to me.

Was ignored at the register when we came to have breakfast inside. It appears the drive through is priority over walk in customers. Very disappointed. The lady that appeared to be manager ignored us and went in the back. Hopefully just an off day.

West Des Moines location stopped delivering and now uses door dash - not worth the $20 delivery fee!!!!! We used to order weekly at work because it’s what is close and we don’t really even get a lunch so it’s eat on the run. With that said we will no longer order until they make changes. The chicken arrived cold and chewy (tendons and gristly) and of course the fries were awful, soggy and cold. 25 bucks for a fry and 8 mini nuggets that ended up in the trash.

i had ordered door dash through them and when i received my order the bag was sealed. when i opened it there was no fries and i only had a drink and my chicken nugget meal. as well as my chicken was cold. it was over 16$. i called chic fil a in west des moin to complain about the issues i was having and was met with disrespect when the person on the phone said "that's a doordash problem" and hung up the phone. this is the worst expirience with them and they were not willing to refund me for just the cost of the meal. i'm very disappointed and upset.

This is the best chick fil a in town! Although it’s inside a food court, it’s fun for kids to play at the play center inside of the mall.

Unfortunately I had a meal a week ago and the chicken was raw, I called spoke with a manager they took my info and said it would be replaced on my next visit, today’s manager didn’t believe me even though I had pictures I had to pay for the food I asked was it done he told me yes it was cooked 15-30 minutes ago I was so upset I just pulled off.

I used to eat here, but the staff gives me the creeps so bad I don't eat here anymore or take my kids here. If you don't know what I mean, then good for you.

So a couple months ago (around oct/nov 2023) one of the employees at this location, i dont know his name but he has bleached blond hair, tall, heavier weight, he asked where i was from in the middle of when i was ordering, i told him i’m Mexican. He then asked if i was mixed? and i said no. Then he said “ohh really, i would've thought you were mixed because you’re lighter and not tanner like you know” and he then was looking over at my friend who is Guatemalan insinuating I should be as tan as my friend which is stereotyping, and inappropriate. Now, i’ve thought about reporting this for a while. Today while my younger sister was ordering with a different employee he was staring the ENTIRE time making us very uncomfortable as i had told her of my previous experience with him. This behavior is unprofessional and im not one to complain unless it’s serious, and i feel for the employees that feel uncomfortable around him.

We ate in the mall. The mall was packed, so we ordered online. So that worked out. They shorted us a sandwich, but when I brought that to their attention, they corrected it.

I haven’t really ever had a good experience here. The ice cream cones are pathetic, and every single cookie is burnt. Burnt to the point where it is rock hard and inedible. It’s embarrasing to serve that kind of stuff here. The nuggets are usually cold, and the fries are stale. Worst location in the area by far.
