This place is the quintessential Midwestern pizza place. The server we had was an absolute sweetheart and the food was exactly what we were craving. If you're looking for fine dining this is not the place to be, but if you're looking for a homey atmosphere and a comforting meal I couldn't recommend the tavern more.
I little rough around the edges but really good pizza. Service was good and we got our pizza in a decent amount of time. Pizza was a bit pricey but most places have expensive pizzas now. I really enjoyed the pizza and I will be back.
My first time wasn't the best but I am very glad I was willing to give them another chance, because my burger on my second trip was phenomenal. They even did the bacon suuuuper crisp the way I like without me even saying anything. Waitress seemed nice and like she cares about doing a good job. Had an issue with the pepper not wanting to come out of the shaker fast enough (I REALLY like pepper 😄) and she went to different tables to test the shakers and find me a good one,...
