Famous Dave's Bar-B-Que

To be fair, it was Father's Day and the restaurant was busier than normal. However, we had to wait 10 minutes to be seated and then another hour before our food arrived. The wait staff was telling everyone that the kitchen was backed up. All of the food was sub-par. The ribs were tough and it was difficult to get the meat off the bone. The Wilbur Beans were not flavorful as usual. They tasted like they had run out of their prepared stock and they opened a can of pork and beans and added some rib meat to it. Our server, Marlon was the highlight. He was diligent in keeping up with all of his tables, including an adjacent table of 12. He served, swept, cleared, and cleaned tabletops all while keeping an eye on us. He was kind and attentive. However, the food was not up to standards and it will be a long while before we return.

Tiffany is an excellent waitress and was very attentive to our needs! Thank you for your wonderful service! The food was hot and fresh and everything just how we wanted it. Would definitely come here again. Their reward system is so good too! $1 spent equal 1 point, 100 points equals a $10 reward! Do it, you won’t regret it!

Went with my family for lunch, ordered a 3 meat platter, all brisket the brisket was rubber… I won’t be back, last 2 times I’ve been there the brisket is trash. Served was awesome only good part

The food was really good and the service was busy, it was that lunch time rush.
So I can totally understand. Great atmosphere and the restaurant was clean, we liked that.
My family had a nice time there. We are sure to visit again.👍

Food was great, waitress very friendly and attentive. It was busy but we didn't wait long at all. Would go back again! Best thing I've seen is the sink to wash your hands in the dining room! It gave me a chuckle.

It was just good. I get the catfish appetizer. I only wish the fish was more of a filet style. Great taste.

Food and staff are fantastic! The atmosphere is okay, not the bluesy music I know from other locations. My wife told me every single pic in the bathroom is white women, which is ironic considering the founding owner/chefs background.

Their baby back ribs are honestly better than Jethros and I’ve been exclusively eating Jethros ribs for 10 years. Their rewards program also frequently gives discounts which is awesome
