Many occasions we have been here the owner ( girl working ) can be quite snarky/ rude. We come for allergy shots every four weeks and have been coming here for 6+ years. The attitude is quite appalling and aggressive. We were just looking and she came and shut a light off in our face and barely made eye contact. I asked what she said WE CLOSE AT THREE. Ok….. your open sign is still out. “Oh THE SIGN THAT SAYS 6-3? “ Mind you we were just looking at cheese and it was 3:03. I will be sure to never purchase my coffee / pricey drinks here again. As you’ve been rude to us on numerous occasions at this point, not just me, my 10 year old as well. Your attitude today confused my 4 and 5 year old . Have some tact. There are polite ways to address people. It’s fine you close at 3. We were unaware and are usually here in the morning. It’s not fine you’re not being a nice human. We all have bad days, get tired, have personal situations, you’re not any more different than the next person down the street. Be nice. You honestly scare kiddos. One time it was just mine asking for whipped cream…..

Favorite coffee spot in Iowa!
I want to apologize to the owner because I understand how this affects a business. This was my gf’s experience and she’s given me permission to write up her experience today (11/27).For no reason just off the bat the girl at the counter (brown curly hair/red shirt) was so mean and passive aggressive. I asked what food options they had because I couldn’t find a menu and she was said “do you realize you can just look into the case for yourself?” . After ordering the pre-portioned soup I signed the receipt and when I obviously decided not to tip she picked it up and went “yeah I figured” then slams down my items and walks away” :/

In Iowa Clinic 5/24 at 2:40pm. After finishing her text then hearing my order, the young lady sighed and hesitated. I said, "Oh, are you closed?" Answered, "No but I just started cleaning my machine." But she moved on to make my hot drink. Probably not the customer service vibe management hopes for.
Great coffee but still prefer starbucks.

We visited the doc and got some beverages. It was a Tuesday around 11 or 1 or 2.White mocha with caramel and decaf cappuccino. It was delicious and helped fill us up.To me, it was the best drink I ever had and my companions was also.Companion with me tried mine, which they don't usually like because it's too sweet, but this place made it so amazinginly. I got the white mocha with caramel.Spent around 11 dollars and that was after a 3 dollar tip.The Barista made the drinks first and I think it made the taste even better since she felt no pressure to rush. I always use to feel like I'd needed to rush when helping make something for customers at my Caseys.Espeically if they had already paid. This way when she made our drinks at grounds for celebration, she could make time to make it taste extra tastier and smooth.Never had such smooth drinks either.I can't remember her name but she was a nice lady with brown hair and brown eyes. She had short hair and was super chill.
I love Grounds for Celebration!!! best coffee, friendly service, cozy vibe
Their scones are the real deal. Even better than those I get in Dublin. The Coffee is superb.

So, I'm at the Iowa Clinic in WDM. I go into Grounds for Celebration coffee shop. They close at 2pm, it was only 1:15pm. I ask for a chicken salad sandwhich. The "worker" literally says to me with a sigh & attitude, "yes we have them BUT I would have to walk all the way over to my kitchen and put it together". Like I am just a huge inconvenience to her. Only 1 person behind me and a couple. Not like there was a big line or rush of people. And it says you are open & serve lunch until 2pm. It was 1:15pm. She did the same thing to an elderly couple behind me. I guess they don't believe in customer service.
Some of the best coffee in the metro. Friendly service.
