I absolutely love homegrown. It’s me and my baby girl spot she takes me to breakfast or should I say brunch at least two or three times a month everything is delicious and the absolutely wonderful.

This a great franchise that started out as good as the locations in Missouri but it has started the Iowa slide. The problem is that Iowa makes the fastest food of any state but they rarely cook it long enough. I give thus place 2 more years and it will be gone.

Good food and friendly service once you’re seated.

However, the waitlist is deceptive, especially on Sundays. They squeeze in those who are walk-ins before those who have done the online waitlist and push your time back. So be cautious if you’re on a time crunch. We traveled up and watched a table be seated in front of us and we still had 20 in front of the line even though one in the party almost hit us backing into our parking spot as they squeezed around us. Parking is a zoo with people dropping off their party at the front and then driving a race to park and join them.

Dietary restrictions: Decent list of gluten free and vegan options.

Had the country benedict & theee little piggies sammie with the fresh squeezed orange juice & fresh green juice. Everything was absolutely delicious. The aioli on the sammie was amazing. Food was out so quick even with a packed restaurant. Service was great. Think I found my new favorite brunch spot!

Loved the atmosphere and interior design. The food is fresh, high quality, & delicious, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. You Have to try the coffee cake! It's a Large piece to share! Honestly, everything we've ordered has been so good! This is one of our new favorites. ?

This is my favorite brunch place. Food is always really good as well as the coffee. Homemade pop tarts or coffee cake are amazing. Inside is a little loud but it's tolerable. Prices are also pretty solid for high quality food.

This place has an amazing atmosphere but the service and food is not good (fresh out of the kitchen but COLD) the lady at the door was rude she did not even greet us nor did she feel welcoming to talk to and our server was nice to her other tables but not to us the only reason I am giving two stars instead of one is because when I asked to have my dish removed from the bill our server did it right away but other than that it was not a good experience and we will not be back.

We ate here in a group of 7 people on a Saturday morning, and checked in 2 hours ahead of time on Yelp. Our initial seating time was 10:24am, but we received a notification that our table would actually be ready closer to 9:55am - 10:10am. We arrived on time with our party and were told they were clearing off our table, and at a quick glance around the restaurant there were no empty tables. We waited until about 10:40am to be finally seated, without any update as to why it was taking so long and just being told "we're getting your table cleared now" upon asking again when we would be seated. There is no waiting area inside the restaurant, so the check in area was extremely congested the whole time we waited, and not to mention LOUD. When we were finally seated we were waited on quickly, but the restaurant was still extremely loud and the check in area was non-stop congestion of 10-15 people waiting at a time to be seated, with hardly any open tables in sight. The food was really good and fairly priced for what it was, but the atmosphere wasn't inviting and it was extremely stressful when we were waiting because servers were constantly trying to make their way through the crowd of waiting people and were constantly having to squeeze out of the way for them as we waited (plus there was hardly any room so we were basically waiting behind the hostess table already). Probably wouldn't come here again unless they start taking actual reservations instead of making people queue for a spot and not actually honoring the time they predict.

Parking: The restaurant shares a parking lot with an apartment complex and it is really difficult to find a parking spot nearby.
