these donuts are huge! they’re so light and fluffy that it’s so easy to finish the box. we got the cosmic brownie, raspberry filled, blueberry streusel, chocolate sprinkle, cookie monster, and cotton candy.

the donuts were delicious. my favorite was the cookie monster. they’re all not too sweet which is an A+ for me.

staff were friendly and i would definitely come again!

I loved Hurts. The selection is huge!! Bought a dozen donuts, I'll round up, $25. There were three of us that went and a dozen was more than enough. I love blueberry cake donuts and this is for sure in the top 5 of all places I have been for that donut. My other two faves that I got were the Reese's chocolate donut, and the snickerdoodle. Service was great! Welcoming and answered all questions. I am from TX so I don't know if or when I will be able to return, but at the thought of returning to Des Moines, I look forward to returning to Hurts. Highly recommended.

This place is easily one of the best donut shops that I have visited around the world, and only Ankeny's Ambrosia Donuts rivals them here in the Metro. Open 24 hours every day, they have great parking and seating, and offer so many delicious options. I LOVED my Twix-topped, chocolate iced donut, truly a unique experience. Just do it, trust me.

Was Hurts Donuts worth it ? I got it, let’s try it & rate it though 1-10. Customer service was immaculate a 10! I got the cinnamon roll with icing it was moist Moist & the icing was Sweet, not unbearable, sweet. It was delicious. Definitely stop if you are in the west Des Moines area behind Drury

Went in on Wednesday to buy a gift card. They were out of them? This is Christmas time and no gift cards. Big mistake. I was going to get so I could expose new people to this store. Said there would be cards by Friday. Made another trip. Still no cards. Will not think to go here again.
