Hy-Vee Market Grille

Hyvee has always been one of my wife and I’s favorite stops with two kids. The chef, Alex, at the Jordan Creek Pkwy Hyvee in Des Moines made us certain that we will keep coming back to Hyvee again and again. After a 6 hour road trip with two kids, we were exhausted, the kids were fussy, and all of us were starving. The service was quick as always, and Alex took time before ending his shift to come over and talk to us and the kids. He cleaned the table, got the kids high chairs that he cleaned and brought over waters for the kids. Not necessary at all, but he still did it and made dinner for two tired parents much easier. Thank you Alex and thank you Hyvee!

Definitely do not recommend. Was there today for 20 minutes. Employees walked around us never greeting us & eventually we left. Worst Market Grille ever.

Hello, I wanted to recognize the staff of the Chinese buffet at the above location. They had very good patience with me and my confusion of their menu. They accommodated my requests and the gentlemen, two asian men, did an excellent job in taking my order and taking care of my dinner. I want to apologize if I caused any stress and frustration for them by my questions and the delay to serve the rest of the guests behind me ready to order. Pharmacy manager Carolyn Lewarne is so disrespectful, her conduct towards patient's is deplorable. She needs a different profession.

When you pay $20 for a dozen doughnuts you would think they would be fresh not from WEST LAKES HY-VEE they are dry and rock hard.

BISCUITS & GRAVY WERE HORRIBLE 3 OF US ORDERED NO ONE COULD EAT IT !

I’m disappointed though. Bought Hy Vee brand baked beans and there was hardly ANY BEANS in it ! More of a baked bean soup than baked beans Same thing with your bean and ham soup there was hardly any beans in it either and you heat the security seal up too much to the point you can’t tear it off!!

Ivy Market Grill has been one of my go to breakfast places for 20 years and the last three times I’ve stopped in there’s nobody around to take an order or wait on anyone. I understand the labor market‘s tough but close the doors if you don’t have any staff don’t let somebody just sit there.

Rachael in produce put together this beautiful fruit tray for me. She was extremely helpful in getting what I wanted! I am pleased beyond words! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Have been ordering cakes for over 30 years at Hyvee, sometimes with days notice and sometimes last minute. Never have I experienced such rudeness! First called Hyvee Waukee around 7:20pm to order a cake for tomorrow, she says your not getting it before 7pm tomorrow( before even asking what time I needed it), I said I can’t get it around 4? No. Thought ok maybe they have too many orders.. So then called Jordan Creek right after, no answer call again and say I’d like to order a
