Love my Waukee location! Can’t wait for Norwalk! I wish the West Des Moines location was a little more friendly.

Best energy drinks EVER. I moved out of state and frequently come back to visit Hyper. Their drinks are amazing and I haven’t found anything else that compares. I highly recommend visiting. The one in Altoona is always spot on and the baristas are the kindest and very welcoming. Jet fuel and violet voltage are my faves, but you really can’t go wrong with any of them.

I’ve been a loyal customer of Hyper for a long time and consistently tip well because I’ve always appreciated the service—until today. When I pulled up to the drive-thru, the barista abruptly slammed open the window and, without any greeting, told me I needed to slow down in the road outside of the property. I was going 10 mph, which is entirely reasonable—my car is just loud.

She then stood there staring at me in silence, clearly waiting for a reaction, which I chose not to give. After an uncomfortable pause, she finally asked what I wanted to order. The interaction was cold, unprofessional, and completely out of line. Being a server myself I can’t even fathom giving this type of service.

This is the first time I’ve ever left without leaving a tip. I truly hope this employee is coached on how to speak to customers respectfully. I love Hyper, but this experience was unacceptable.

I was first introduced to energy drink bars when I worked in the Quad Cities. I've passed by these Hyper Bars here and there but have never stopped. Well, today was the day and it didn't disappoint! If you want some bubbly energy at a decent price, I'd recommend these drive-thrus.

Hyper is one of my favorite treats to grab when I need a pick-me-up! I wish they didn’t use a rockstar base but if you are looking for a sweet drink with caffeine, this is my go-to! I got the Aftershock! It’s delicious.

West Des Moines location has the most amazing customer service-there is a reason they are so busy! They are fabulous! We come here every day for great drinks and the best service!
