the manger at this location literally doesn’t care about anyone but himself. his store is slow, employees are slow, delivery is slow, and food is garbage. management told me his name is Body and he has no idea how to run a store without being disrespectful. i’m in the process of having the health inspectors and BBB coming to this rubbish location. I got lied to 6 times after spending $100s here, no more.EDIT: This location is owned and independently operated, so there is no customer service. literally. if you place an order and don’t want to deliver you food, they won’t. and when you call, there’s nothing you can do. they don’t care about you they just want your money. the manger here doesn’t care if employees lie.

This place is beyond unwelcoming besides a few people that actually bother to help their customers, the MANAGER on the other hand beyond selfish and rude ? . Honestly what is so wrong with iowa how in earth's name do u become a manager and you're disgusting rude what happened to putting customers first so u basically hire people or tell them oh u have to do this in order to work at establishments like this but once you're employees do so you're disgusting rude to not only them but the PEOPLE THAT HELP KEEP YOUR PAYCHECK GOING! I will be contacting your head of department myself since I was a mystery shopper ! I've worked in fast food for over 9 years and I've been across rude people as yourself but hearing it first hand was beyond overboard I expect the same attitude and kindness from management not just employees there was also a really disturbing oder coming from this shop I also notice leakage and other things that I'll just be telling you're corporate about this place doesn't deserve a five store not even three , not even one how disgusting and sad you must be to be manager!

I'm deeply impressed with this great place! They got my last minute catering order done quickly and with precision. Year ago this place didn't care but now it's a turn around! I don't know you guys got new owners or what but I see way too much improvement. Thank you everyone!

There are a few reasons why I like Jimmy John's for road trips: 1. It's a bit healthier than other fast food options 2. You can order ahead on the app which is great for efficiency when on the road. That all being said, we were driving north to the Twin Cities and around lunch time decided to stop at Jimmy Johns along the way. We used their app to find this location, placed an order and routed ourselves their way. The worst thing about this Jimmy John's location is how hard it is to find, park, and get inside. It's in a shopping center, but the way you are routed there via maps is a bit ridiculous. It took us a good while to just find the place so I hope they work on wayfinding for folks that aren't familiar with the shopping center its located in. Aside from that it's a fairly standard Jimmy John's. Our order was not freaky fast, which was also a bit disappointing since we'd ordered ahead, but we got our sandwiches and got on our way. Overall, I'd probably return if passing through, but if I saw something more appealing I wouldn't choose this location for efficiency.

The freaky fast slogan doesn't apply to this location. If you've got plenty of time to waste on your lunch break, this is your spot. It took roughly 20 minutes to get one sandwich. Even worse is that a group who ordered after me, received their order first, and their sandwiches were the same type that I had ordered. Completely unorganized with a slow staff. Do yourself a favor and pick a different Jimmy Johns location.

It’s actually impressive how slowly these workers make sandwiches. I feel like you have to try to be that slow. I have never seen people moving more like sloths in my life.During the lunch rush on the weekend, there is one person making sandwiches while the four other workers are doing various other unnecessary things (like stocking cup lids that already have plenty.) The person taking most of the orders is also the person making the sandwiches. There are eight people waiting for sandwiches currently, and we have been waiting for over 15 minutes to get ONE sandwich.This isn’t the first time this has happened. This has been happening at this location for years. If the location was less convenient, I would never step foot in the store again.Reserve at least 20 minutes of your lunch break to order a sandwich. Every other location that I’ve been to has great customer service. On top of all of this, the sandwich was not correct. How frustrating.

Do NOT order delivery from here. Freaky fast? More like FREAKY SLOW.Over an hour for a Jimmy John’s delivery and I’m less than a mile from you? Pure sadness. Figure it out. Management should be disappointed in themselves.

If I could give it a zero rating I would! To the girl working/ answering the phone during the evening shift, around 7:15 pm, 6/20/23 at the Mills Civic, West Des Moines location…this was the absolute WORST customer service I have ever had. I never leave bad reviews, so it was that bad!! I placed an order thru Uber Eats, not directly with the establishment. Apparently Jimmy Johns still delivers for Uber Eats delivery services, yet for the second day in a row..they didn’t have a delivery person. So why the heck are we paying jacked up prices thru Uber Eats for jimmy john delivery if they don’t have drivers personally? Anyway…. So I said ok, I’ll pick it up and order by phone, and I was immediately hung up on. I called back and said you hung up on me when I was about to order, and it was nothing but an argument. She was extremely rude, short, and was absolutely terrible!!! This is probably the reason yelp reviews for this location is a 2. I’ll be contacting the general manager for this location as it was that bad! She refused to give me her name, or an ID number and said she was apparently the manager, when I asked for one! Went to the university location and was nothing but a pleasant experience!!
