Mahalo's Coffee & Mini Donuts

Feels like more of a novelty. Donuts were ok. Coffee was good. Service was fine. Feels like a strip mall location with some Hawaiian themed decorations. Not bad, but could be better.

Extremely disappointed. I was refused service because of my service animal, which is not only unacceptable but also illegal. I was told I could not come inside and had to leave my dog outside just to order. I had driven 20 minutes out of my way while visiting from out of state, excited to try this shop, only to be met with rudeness from the girl working (blue shirt, thick headband). On top of that, the espresso machine was already down. The customer service was unwelcoming and unfriendly, and the way I was treated was appalling. I only grabbed donuts because I had already made the trip, but I will never return and cannot recommend this place.

These donuts are like the size of a quarter. Yes, they taste pretty good but you wont get your moneys worth.

Randomly found this coffee shop with a quick google search. Friendly staff, quick service. Got the Salted Carmel and Blueberry doughnuts and they were phenomenal. Paired perfectly with an iced Waikiki Sneaky coffee.

Don’t get me wrong the food and coffee is amazing, but the service is terrible. I ordered two separate grubhub orders on purpose to pay for them with separate cards, Mahalo’s cancelled my second order so I called and asked why and they said it was because there were two separate orders of the same thing but one added donuts I told them that it was supposed to be that way because I needed to pay with a separate card and the employee hung up on me. I called again and asked to speak to a manager and she hung up on me again. I work in customer service and food service this is not something that is okay or that you should ever do. I was very kind about it both times that I had called and asked my question politely and calmly there is no reason she should have hung up the phone.

I ordered donuts half strawberry and half smores, they were good. I also ordered a cold brew, it was not good. She put 1/3 of coffee some ice then the rest was sink water. Did not expect sink water to be part of a cold brew.

The donuts are good! However some days you have to wait 30 plus mins for them….the siding area is smaller…they have a rewards system but I no longer use it as it only gets you free coffee, I don’t drink that and have brought it up with who I believe to be the owner, he said he was getting other opinions added however that has never been done. :,(

I absolutely love the donuts here, they are delicious and so is the coffee. BUT the last 2 times I’ve drove almost 30 minutes just to see they are closed due to lack of staffing. It’s really disappointing. I wish there was a way for management to post it somewhere instead of people wasting their time. I saw three other cars who were also disappointed to see you were closed. I know times are tough but this is the number one way you will lose business.

My daughter and I frequent Mahalos and always have great service. Today they were slammed but they were still quick and attentive. I’m always impressed with their doughnuts and their consideration for each customer, even the crabby ones.
