The best place for a chill lunch that you can imagine. I've been here a few times and it's always been great, but drunken noodles this time were so good that it compelled me to write this review. Very friendly staff and quiet, serene atmosphere. Going to make this a habit to come back regularly.

This is a regular place for my office for lunch. I think I've had about a third of the menu, and everything has been amazing.If I had to make a complaint, and I would really struggle to find anything, I could say that level three spiciness is not very consistent. Some days level three is barely there; some days level three hurts a little. I'm leaving my review at 5 stars because I kind of love that, but I could get why some people might not.

It looks like this restaurant is struggling. There is far better Pad Thai cuisine in the Des Moines area. The service was efficient but the location looks like it has been under maintained.

Unbelievably good Thai food. The curry was thick and super flavorful, and the Pad See Ew was mouth watering. Definitely would suggest to anyone who loves Thai food.

Hidden gem! I have been looking for a good cellophane noodles (glass noodles) dish. Here they call it silver garden. Outstanding! Got it at #2 spicy and was perfect lip tingling heat. Veggies were crisp and beef tender. Only downside was I ate it all and have no leftovers. Finished with fried bananas and ice cream. Fried in crunchy spring roll wrap. Perfect finish! (Menu subject to change, like everything these days. Be flexible.)

Decided to check this place out after seeing an incredible review on the DSM FB food lovers page. What a disappointment. Many items on the menu were crossed off . Including tea. Had an order of egg rolls which were golden brown and hot. Yet no crunch to the wrapping and incredibly soggy. Sweet dipping sauce was a urine color and extremely watered down. Had the beef Pho. Broth was colorless and flavorless. Nooodles we’re all stuck together in one big clump. Sparse amount of bean sprouts. No Jalapeño mint looked dry and wilted. Condiment bottles all need cleaned. Soy sauce would come out of bottle from being clogged. Very disappointing.

We came in later evening on a Tuesday and were seated right away. The server was the only one, but it’s not a huge place and it wasn’t overly busy. Our order was taken quickly and the food came out quickly. We got the soup and potstickers first, both were really delicious. The soup was creamy. The potstickers were nice and crunchy. We both got pad Thai’s. They have a little bit different sauce than I’ve had around (homemade) but it was still familiar and really tasty. I got a 1 spice which was essentially nothing and my husband got a 3, which was very noticeable. He loved it. I think I would go for a 2 next time. Just a note that the menu is limited with the season, but there was still plenty of options. I would definitely go back and recommend it to others.
