Rosati's Pizza

I did not recieve the toppings I ordered, meatball sandwich was melted into the aluminum foil because someone put it in backwards. No response from customer service so far. Another man waiting in line got the wrong order as well. Too bad because the food was good, it seems like someone on their team last Sunday was sabotaging things. Won't be going back.

We always LOVE the calzones!

But owner and staff went above and beyond a few weeks ago. I had arrived to location and they were closing early, so couldn’t get pizzas. I had a baby with me, and sat in parking lot trying to search for next place. Staff came out and insisted to take order… then GIFTED me our entire order!! ❤️ Wow. So very sweet! We will forever support Rosattis! Amazing staff and ownership! Thank you!!

Buckle up kids, I don't normally review anymore but have to say something about this place. Wife and I decided to try Rosati's tonight.

Food was great, wife got a calzone, I got an Italian Beef with cheese and hot pepper mix and we split a side of the dough bites (be warned, its massive).

However this review isn't about the food, its about the people. We walked in and if it wasn't the franchise owner who greeted us, it was the most enthusiastic and knowledge manager I've ever met. Asked if we've been in, knew we hadn't, gave us the brief history of the chain and helped us make our dinner decision. Then a young lady helped us ring up, very nice and friendly. The crew made sure we were comfortable, asking if we needed anything, delivered the food, checked in on us and well treated us better than we've been treated at fine dining establishments. Especially for dining in at a location that'snominally set up for take out.

TL;DR: Food good, people better, give them a shot but go hungry.

This place was great! I ordered a take out pie for the road since i had a 2 hour drive and i was starving. I got a small chicago deep dish and i set my time to pick it up at 2:30 and didnt arrive til 3. The pizza was still hot and packaged nicely. The service was outstanding and the pizza was spot on. Delicious sauce, perfct crust and every bite was good. Great stuff and will order again

Excellent pizza, super friendly staff!

To begin with, I'm from Chicago and Rosatis is nearly what I'm used to, I always ❤️ love their 🍕 🍕, but I'm just hoping to have more places. But way to go Rosatis

This was my first visit to the West Des Moines Rosati's, although I've been a customer of multiple Rosati's locations in Illinois for 2 and a half decades.

Our pizza was nearly perfect. The crust was a perfect circle and was golden brown. The tomato sauce was sweet, seasoned, and tasty. The cheese had just a hint of browning, which is ideal. The sausage on our pizza was great. This was one of the better pizzas I've had from a Rosati's over the years.

The customer service was top notch. There is limited counter space inside of the restaurant for dining in. The person behind the counter brought our pizza out along with paper plates and napkins. He was kind and helpful. Everything inside was clean and well-presented.

I don't live in Iowa, but if I were to come back, I would have no hesitation about eating here again. It was an all-around positive experience.

I’m born and raised in Chicago and grew up eating Rosati’s pizza. This location is not authentic Chicago tavern style pizza. Crust is completely different taste and texture, sauce tastes completely different, and the cheese is not the same at all. They don’t cook the vegetables enough and they come raw. Very disappointing.
