I know that franchises are not *technically* required to follow promotions and new menu items that are released by corporate but it is rather frustrating to be excited about a release, drive all the way to go pick up an item, only to find out they don't actually follow corporate releases, and they do not carry the new smoothies.It's not the teammembers fault working there exactly, indeed, they were FLABBERGASTED about what I was talking about, and continuously told me to go to the "other" smoothie shop (which fyi is my usual go-to). I read it straight from the Smoothie King website to them, and they let me know they don't actually carry it. It's fine... I'll take their advice and go to that "other" place.

i’ve only been here twice. first time was great, I tried one of their new smoothie bowls and it was super good. just went here for the second time in the drive thru and I waited almost an hour. finally got my smoothie bowl and it’s super watery and the mangoes aren’t ripe. not even the consistency of a smoothie. terrible experience. waiting almost an hour for a smoothie bowl that’s $12 and it’s not even good. absolutely terrible experience and will not come here again.

It's a really pleasant, tidy atmosphere. The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating. My second visit here did not let me down, and I will most definitely be back!Kid-friendliness: They have decent-sized kid smoothies.

From a past smoothie king employee, my first visit to this smoothie king lands in the top 3 smoothie king visits I've ever had. Excellent smoothie, store was clean, and the staff was more than nice. Shout out to Briella for making my overly complicated smoothie first try with not complaints. Truly excellent service.

Great service most of the time and love the smoothies. Biggest complaint is the unreliable hours. Pulled into the drive through at 8:45 all lights were on and employees were there. No one responded or said anything. Waited 5 minutes and then they turned the lights off. Have had several instances of this location closing early. Never had any issues with the Waukee location just would prefer not having to drive the extra ten minutes but guess I'll take my business elsewhere.
have respect for this place how they can charge almost 10 ten for a drink tastes less favorable than a dollar gas station drink , amazing how this place is still in business . this town is starving for good alternative options but not getting it. place is clean and workers are great otherwise.

They closed the lobby without posting a sign, 30 minutes til 9pm. They also closed early, and left us in the drive through without taking our order, 15 minutes prior to close (9pm).I would not recommend going here--poorly run business.

The real issue though: is there an Iowa health department and are they cool with people actively eating while making other people's food? That can't be right, right?
