Ryan makes this Starbucks location shine! At the Prairie View & Ashworth store in Waukee, he’s the best little bit of sunshine anyone could ask for in the morning. Always happy to help, quick with great suggestions, and so genuinely friendly—it’s contagious.
I hadn’t been going to Starbucks regularly for years, but because of this location (and especially Ryan), I’ve found myself coming back more often. The whole staff is great, but Ryan truly stands out among great people. Thanks for making mornings better!

Took off one star for atmosphere not with a complaint for this location but due to Starbuck's new policy of handing you the credit machine to guilt you into adding a tip! When I pay $7 for a coffee and $7 for a snack that should cost a buck, Starbucks should increase the wages of their employees, NOT push it back on their loyal Starbucks fans! Due to this policy this will be my final Starbuck's visit (I am switching to Scooter's - check 'em out). However, NOTHING wrong at this location (other than the extortion and exorbitant costs that are inherent at Starbuck's). Great service, standard Starbuck's coffee fare, and this is in particular a never busy location. If you insist on paying a large part of your paycheck for coffee at Starbuck's (and being emotionally FORCED to add a tip for someone merely doing their job) you may as go here!
