Silly to be closed on the weekends!

I stayed here on a business trip. My toilet did not flush, I was not given the room I reserved, and my tv did not work. I was told they overbooked and nothing they could do about it. I had to use the garbage can to fill water from the shower and pour into the tank on the toilet each time in order to flush. The very sweet young lady from the front desk tried to fix my tv and could not. The next day they only gave me a partial refund. The hotel sent me an email denying the issues even though the front desk lady was witness to all of it. I requested a king and was given two queens which was fine.

Old courtyard hotel. Floors are awful. Showers are old....my sheets had blood on them. Best part window air conditioners... like the old motel 6 hotels. This hotel is in a good location but I would never stay here again. Does anyone know a good Marriott property in west Des Moines? They are all old and tired

Friendly bartender running the Bistro |Bar on a weeknight! Good place to stop in for a relaxing drink or bite to eat. Baseball and hockey showing on the screens, but bartender will change on request. We were impressed by the local beer selection and German riesling offering! The seating area has places to be social or introverted, including screened booths where you can choose your own cable channel.

My son, and I stayed a Friday and Saturday night at this property. I am a titanium elite status and have traveled and stayed extensively at Marriott properties, including many Courtyard Marriott properties. This property is sub-par. Room was dirty. You could see dust on countertops, cabinets and light fixtures. The back of the door had what appeared to be grease, draining from the hinges down the back of the door. The rooms have under window air conditioner/heaters that are not controlled by a wall thermostat. We had attempted to set the unit to constantly run the fan because of how noisy the hotel was, but the setting didn’t work. Mirrors in the room were smudged. Directly across from the property is a retail strip, and you can see the trash dumpsters from the room. Saturday morning at 5 AM is apparently the time that the trash dumpsters get emptied as the noise woke the room up. This is a below average property.

Had not stayed here for awhile and decided to try it again after several bad experiences at another Marriott property in recent months. We were pleasantly surprised. Clean and quiet property. Convenient location to shopping and restaurants.

Although the common areas such as lobby & cafeteria looked nice enough, the property is in bad need of maintenance, paint and general upkeep. The rooms were not properly cleaned, we had a clogged bathtub, thick layer of dust on headboards and bedbugs in the sofa bed. We do not recommend this property.

Hotel seems to be very popular. Huge parking lot, simply check in, simply check out. Good beds, decent pillows, even kind of quiet and very large room. I did not try their bar/restaurant. So, I cannot judge on that. I appreciate smell of the fireplace in the lift area. Is it artificial or real smell, hard to say. But, it did smell like real burning wood.

This hotel is perfect for an overnight stay. Courteous checkin, nice clean room, quality bed and bedding. We had a made to order breakfast the next morning and it was very good. We will definitely stay here again! Jordan Creek has lots of restaurants close by to chose from.

I booked the Courtyard for a night before an event but found this hotel outdated. they have tried to spice it up but it is not an up to date facility. -THE GOOD- The location is good and easy to access with plenty of restaurants nearby. -THE NOT SO GOOD- The room was the issue. I was in a single king on the 4th floor. The set up of the room left a lot to be desired. The TV was in a location that you could only get a full view from the far side of the bed. So if there are two of you then one won't be able to see half the screen. I used the app to check in and it said I had access to use my phone to access my room. This doesn't work at this hotel, at least it wasn't when I stayed. The fridge in the room was not cold. -THE BAD- There was a safety concern in the room I was in. The mattress was setting slightly off the frame which seemed odd. But it turned out there was an outlet that powered the light and clock next to the bed which in the way of the mattress. So you either had to have the mattress off to the side or accept the fire risk. I can't believe this would pass any inspection.

We stayed here part of this past weekend with our grandkids. I called 2 days before coming to make sure the pool was open and just got a simple yes- no other explanation of “pool rules”. We check in and they tell me we need to sign up for 1 hour of pool time a day. 1 HOUR with a 2, 5 and 6 year old - REALLY!!! And why didn’t you tell me that when I called They allowed 6 people in pool at a time-RIDICULOUS!!!! If people are that worried about Covid stay home. Also the breakfast SUCKED!!! What child eats a banana nut muffin. At least put some cereal out. Needless to say whoever was working was very rude and we left that Saturday to find a different motel and did not get refunded. I highly recommend the Hyatt place right across the parking lot. The pool is bigger. The pool is much warmer. And they let you swim whenever you please. For breakfast we got cereal, fruit, scrambled eggs and sausage in a individual serving container, and much friendlier!!!!!’
