This place unfortunately was sold by the previous owner. The new owner has on multiple occasions been met frequenting other bars in the area, introducing himself as "the owner of the Keg Stand", and will grope women without their consent. Warn your friends!

My fiancé and I met at a charity event here 6 years ago, and will be getting married this August. She flew from Idaho and I drove from Illinois to the Keg Stand in Des Moines. On a road trip through the area we decided to stop in and see if it was still here. To our delight the beer garden was busy, and the inside brought back so many memories.
