The Pelican Post Bar & Grille

Couldn’t recommend this place enough. We had a wonderful time tonight for a work outing. Called and made a reservation a week prior. Decor, atmosphere, and vibe was phenomenal. Our waitress, Kennedy, was a joy to have—attentive, friendly, and upbeat! Food was delicious! I think that’s one of the best breaded tenderloins I have had. It was thick, juicy, flavorful, and delicious! And what a pleasant surprise to be able to play DJ Bingo while there! It was truly a great time! Will be back!

Husband and I have ordered food from The Pelican Post Bar & Grille through food delivery apps a few times and it has been really good! So tonight we decided to go dine-in. We showed up at 6 pm on a Saturday so busy was an understatement. However we were greeted immediately by 3 different staff. The wait times for drinks and food was a little long, but again they were packed so it was totally fine. Our server also checked in repeatedly to give us updates on when it was coming and followed up for quality as well. My husband got the sloppy joes, like always, and loved them! I got the grouper sandwich (crispy) and it was fantastic! My husband snuck a bite of the fish and said he’d order that over his favorite sloppy joes, it was that good! The atmosphere and music were great too! Played songs that are regulars in our personal playlists. We will definitely be back!

We love this place! The patio is huge and always has a fun vibe! Food and drinks are great with a fair price! It's one of our "go to" places!

Yesterday we had family/friends host a bike ride and our first stop was Pelican Post! I’m truly amazed at how AMAZING our service was when we were there!! Food is always spot on too!! Thank you guys!!

Food was great. good serving sizes and delicious food

We had a party of 4 last night it was all of our first time there. We loved our food . Our waitress was great so was the manager and also the other employees that would come up to check on us also. The music was awesome. We are originally from Waterloo but next time we come back, we are planning on stopping there.

We were a group of 14. Some food was very good but most was mediocre. Our tenderloin is over cooked and dry.

Took the family for lunch on a Sunday. Place was maybe 1/4 full and Tiffany, our server, was amazingly kind and attentive. I got the tenderloin which was pretty top notch. The sweet tots are the way to go as well. Kids got chili dogs which they scarfed down. The thinner krinkle cut fries are better than I thought they'd be.

The only reason I'm giving this a 4 star is that my family with 3 impressionable kids had to listen, at a loud volume, to the Notorious BIG and one of his 'extra' explicit songs (which I really like the song!) But after about fifteen 'n' bombs and f-words and my kids repeating the words and asking about the words...I felt really disappointed. The owner did change it up after that song...which I appreciate....but it was too late from my standpoint. I will be back to try the nachos no doubt and it they knock my socks off, I will upgrade them to 5 stars.

My party and I weren't hungry for a meal, so we got a side of fries to share. They were hot, crispy, and delicious overall. I definitely would like to try more of the menu on my next visit. Also, Ben was a great and attentive server!
