I struggle with protein intake and typically can’t stomach protein shakes. Twisted Nutrition is a game changer. I actually look forward to Twisted shakes! I only recently discovered this place, but find myself inventing reasons to “be in the neighborhood.” The people are great, super friendly and helpful, and not once have thy grown impatient with me trying to decide what I want lol. It doesn’t really matter what you order though because everything is yummy and nutritious. If you’re not sure what you want or need all you have to do is ask. The owner is knowledgeable and willing to help with whatever nutritional goal/need you might have. Oh and I almost forgot most shakes are Gluten Free too! I seriously don’t have a bad word to say. Just try it for yourself - you’ll be hooked!

Hyper got NOTHINGGG on TWISTED NUTRITION!! I was shopping in Ankeny on Saturday and thought Hyper would be a decent temporary placeholder for the day and at least comparable to Twisted Nutrition. NOPE!!!!!! You can’t compare what taste like it came out of can at the gas station to a carefully curated delicious and nutritious drink made with love from the business owner herself! Friendly advice, get the TeaBomb kits there ahead of time if you are going to be stuck shopping in a different city the next day 🤭💯🧡🧡🧡

I really enjoy their protein shakes! I usually will go after a workout and they are very friendly. Very convenient place for when I am finished with my workouts. The peanut butter banana protein shake is my personal favorite.

Claims to be a health store and that you're drinking the tea's but what they don't tell you as all of the flavoring comes from syrups that they've dehydrated. So it's just a bunch of red dye 40 and sugar that they mix into your drinks and claim it to be healthy because it's not liquid and you're paying $12 for. This is probably the biggest scam and rip off I've ever seen. If you're going to advertise it being a natural tea, why not tell people that you're adding a bunch of red dye 40 in sugary syrups to it. will never be drinking anything from here again

Best shakes and teas!!

Very weird experience today. Went in often when it first opened and the environment was great. Today I walked in and didn’t see anyone. After a bit the worker came out of the bathroom and said I need to wash my hands, then proceeded to wash them in the sink used for dishes and what I soon found out the sink used to fill the teas. Why wouldn’t you wash your hands in the bathroom?? West Des Moines water is disgusting!!! Everyone knows that. To charge $9 for a drink that tased like a pixie stick used with hard water is outrageous.

I’ve had this place on my “want to go” list for a while now and tonight I finally tried it and man they did not disappoint! I got a Oreo cheesecake & hubby got the chunky monkey both amazing! Definitely coming back to try more flavors which by the way you have so much to choose from!Edit : Toddler approved! He absolutely loves the oreo

Lots of options and great tasting.

The tea drinks taste good, but I've had a couple poor experiences now.The owner does not seem happy to have customers, gives vibes that I'm bothering her by coming in.I watched the owner fill my tea with tap water straight from the sink and didn't shake/mix the tea at all. Sorry, but charging $8 for a drink that is 95% tap water and not mixed is ridiculous.I decided that would be my last visit.
