This is one of the best PHO I’ve ever had,. Wasn’t expected, usually any type of fusion restaurant dilute the true authenticity of the dish. This place is another level.

Very nice atmosphere. We ordered the stirfried and it lacked flavor. My co-worker had the pho and she said it was just ok.

From the outside you would never guess its not like any other Asian restaurant. Very modern and more luxurious feel while dining in. Prices on food are well matched within DSM area. I had the veitopia special roll and Wagyu Pho. The pricing on the special roll is phenomenal. For one spring roll its about $8 and this is 6 spring rolls for $16, its a no brainer. When the rolls came it got even better. All 6 were unique from eachother. There was one with spam, another with tofu, and my favorite that threw me off was the one with no noodles, it had basil, brisket, and bean sprout. Very different but flavorful. The Wagyu pho's broth was not sweet and more on the salty and savory side. I love how they use the thicker pho/pad thai noodles. In my opinion you get more flavor of the broth soaked in the noodles. Homemade meatballs were bouncy and flavorful. To be honest you wouldn't be able to tell that there was wagyu in your pho. The noodle and broth alone sold it. And yes there definitely is wagyu in there because the texture of the beef is way more flavorful and fatty. Overall great experience there and great food.

Hong Kong garlic noodles OK, nothing special. Honey roasted chicken on noodles very poor - tasteless and dry, no flavor of honey or anything else.

Terrible experience. We ordered some wings along with fried rice, and noodles. Wings were undercooked. We asked to use little soy sauce for main course which they did but also lacked any spices littlerally no salt.
We requested them to provide some salt on the side, after I mixed with food later we realized it was indeed sugar. Our whole food and experience was disappointment.

Came on a Sunday afternoon and it was quiet and welcoming. The music was soft and we were seated immediately. Very comfortable chairs. The chef here does things in the fusion style, so some items were not traditional in appearance. However everything we ordered tasted amazing. Pot stickers were fresh and light with great sauce. Shaken beef was so tender and flavorful. Egg roll was more of a pillow, but loaded with flavor. Will return.

When you cannot get grandma’s healthy helping of Chicken Noodle Soup—Chicken Pho at Vietopia on EP True in WDM is the next best thing. The anti inflammatory broth is rich with electrolytes that will settle a queasy stomach and give you good digestive energy. The clear warm broth has a distinctive taste full of herbs and spices. Adding veggies takes it over the top giving it that rich umami flavor all at a little above average cost $$. Parking is good and the seating is comfortable and spacious with a very attentive wait staff. So if you are running low on energy, need a gut and joint boost give them a try.

I was in town visiting my brother and came here for a random lunch while taking a break from studying nearby. It was the most serendipitous lunch, I'd say. The service was phenomenal; the wait time was short and the employee was very kind and attentive. The food was delicious. I got the royal egg rolls-- best egg rolls in my life... the lemongrass tofu-- I highly recommend getting this, the sauce went beautifully with it... and the pad thai was also fantastic. The portions were really great. The price was decent. The place was well decorated and the vibe itself was calm and relaxing. All in all I'm excited to visit Iowa again so that I can eat here again.

Vietopia looks really nice inside. Super clean, elegant, and pretty but the food didn’t live up to it for me. The Wagyu pho broth was underseasoned, tasted like just water and oil, and the regular pho wasn’t much better. The noodles in the regular pho had a weird grainy, starchy texture that made it impossible to enjoy. Chicken wings were okay, spring rolls were fine. I had high hopes for this place because of the rating, but as a Viet, I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for an authentic experience.
