Felt like we were a bother. Ordered the stone crab. Couldn’t break it open. Drinks took a while. Jumbo shrimp was good. Bill came without asking if we would like desert. Maybe they don’t serve desert anymore? If we come back would only be for lunch.
It was our first visit to the original Waterfront..everyone was very friendly and in particular our waiter Matt...very professional and knowledgeable about all the items on the menu...there is no doubt why Waterfront is the number 1 Seafood Restaurant in Des Moines...
Server was friendly, competent, and provided me with a GF option, (a deconstructed Grilled Salmon sandwich), that was not on the menu. It tasted excellent. The Sushi appetizer was notable particularly because of how fresh the Tuna was. The cost was between reasonable and high. Expect to pay $25-$45 per person.
