Good food. Ok service. The atmosphere needs work.

They have always been bad for me, I have called for a choripollo and they did not give me tortillas and the same thing has happened to me twice now, better pay more attention

Authentic Mexican food in quaint downtown West Liberty. I get the chicken taco salad every time.

The food was alright …The owner however, was super rude and argumentative over a mistake that they made. I recommend driving the 10 minutes to west branch and going to Mexico lindo. Everything is additonal charge and there were two bugs in the bathroom.

Restaurant is cash only!Food is ok. Not enough sauces on the food. That is an extra charge.Everything is an extra charge that is not extra at other restaurants .No bill presented to pay. Just have to go to the register and then they tell you how much you oweNo way to know if the charges are accurate.Noisy when more than one or two tables

I was driving through and saw this place.Went in and sat down. I ordered combination plate #5. My waitress spoke little English. I pointed at #5 on the combination plate. Enchilada, quesadilla, chili relleno. She pointed at it as well and asked what kind of sauce I wanted. I said green. ( at least that's what I thought she asked. Apparently I was right. The meal came out and it was not what I ordered. It was two enchiladas. When the waitress came to ask me about the meal I pointed out it was not what I ordered. There was a communication barrier. She had her supervisor come and I tried to explain that I had ordered combination plate #5. She pointed out my meal was lunch special # 5.I said that was fine. I will eat it even though I did not order it. I had ordered combination plate #5. She said ok.When I went to pay my bill was $24.00Apparently, she thought I was ordering combination plate #5 to go. I paid.I told her I did not order that. I paid for it anyway. Told her someone else can eat it.And left.Otherwise, food was good. Nothing exceptional.Clean place.Bad communication.

Food was very flavorless, and bean had a strange, unwelcome taste. Overall- not good.They don’t give you a bill, and the waitress seems nice but barely talked above a whisper.Tables were folding tables and chairs.
