It was ok overall. I feel it's expensive for what it is though. That being said staff was very friendly.

I absolutely suggest the onion rings they are the best. I thought since they were so good I should try something else. I was handed a dry pork tenderloin on a dry bun when I asked doesn’t anything come on it I was told that’s the way it comes. I contacted management when I left and was told all there sandwich’s come plain unless you ask. There is no way a customer would know this. I want everyone to know you have to ask or it’s completely dry. Insane very disappointing for a restaurant that has so many travelers stop at. Dumbfounded

Fun throw back 50s style drive in. The car hop took our order and delivered our food piping hot. She was very prompt, efficient and helpful with suggestions about our order.

Super fun experience and great food. My family looks forward to its opening every year!
I think their malts are really shakes, and the last time I was there they only took cash or check.

Absolutely toxic workplace—avoid at all costs. This company allows harassment and stalking between employees to go completely unchecked. Management is fully aware and does nothing to stop it—in fact, they seem to enable it. I spoke directly to one of the female owner, and the lack of professionalism and basic human decency was shocking. The culture here is rotten from the inside out. If you value your peace, safety, or sanity, stay far, far away from this place.

The Barrell does have great food, however on sundays we like to go for a drive and try different places. Tonight we ended here I ordered fish and my husband ordered burger. We got no napkins and ask a gentleman for some ranch for my fish and he said I’m going to have to charge u 60 cents I said wow he said ya u can go across the street and get it for a quarter, wow so I was floored by this response, we didn’t go across the street however next time if and when we come back we will ask for ranch. Our meal was 42.00 you think we could have got a ranch for free spending that kinda money!! Lynn Kelck

The Barrel has been around for over 60 years. It is a true blue drive-in. The onion rings are homemade and to die for. We love the malts. They are known for their High Boy sandwich ( a double burger with a special sauce). They also have wonderful broasted chicken. Don't forget to have an old fashioned Root beer!
