We wanted to try a new place while looking for lunch options before going to the Outlet stores. We selected this Mexican place in the downtown area of Williamsburg. They had many menu options to choose from and even some unique ones. I do wish they used better chorizo and they didn't overcook their carne asada. I am not sure why they cook that so long. More flavor and tenderness could be enjoyed if cooking time or process was improved.
I loved this place! The margarita was delicious and the service was great! The BEST part of my visit was the authentic part of the menu! Their Torta de chorizo was delicious! The chorizo was salty, the pickled jalapeños added the perfect spice and the fresh veggies gave a nice break to the richness of it all. I have gone to several other Mexican restaurants since then and every place I go to I look for an authentic part of their menu with the Torta de chorizo. Sadly no other...
