Drove 30 minutes with my 3 kids to come here at 2:30. Before leaving I checked their Facebook hours and googles hours to double check they were open. Both said they opened at 1pm. Imagine my surprise when we pulled up and there was a sign on the door saying they don’t open until 3:30. I double checked their Facebook to see if any posts were made about an hour change and there was no post made. Super frustrating, especially when you have a 1 year old who doesn’t want to be put back in the car seat directly after getting her out. Food is decent but communication and clear hours are clearly lacking.

This quaint and nostalgic ice cream and grill, has some of the most amazing creations of food, and drinks. I'm a huge fan of cheese fries, and they have four different styles of cheese fries available, all of their food is excellently made, and they have a huge selection of ice cream, malts, energy drink mixes, burgers, chicken, and more. The service staff is so incredibly attentive, super customer friendly, and they really go out of their way to make everything perfect for you. If you want top notch ice cream and Grill to go to, this is the place for you! I highly recommend Arty's Ice Cream & Grill in Wilton, Iowa!

Cheeseburger special when they opened at 1pm Friday. $7.48 for cheeseburger, fries, & 24oz soda including tax. Cheeseburger appears to be a smashburger & was excellent imo. Fries are somewhat similar to McDonald's but a little thicker & crispy. I dined in (was already 90⁰ outside) & if I had to complain about anything it would be the flies were pretty annoying. Nothing a few fly paper strips couldn't solve. Nothing to complain about regarding the food. I live in the QCs & been wanting to stop by Arty's ever since I saw it on FB. Was well worth going 4 miles off I80 omw back from Iowa City. HIGHLY recommend 👍👍 Back again on Saturday coming back from Kids Day in Iowa City. Had to try some ice cream. Small strawberry shortcake sundae. YUM!! Only saw 1l fly Saturday too. 👍👍

Amazing smash burgers. I love the cheese curds and tornadoes too. The employees are very kind. I go to the Wilton location.
