Me and my partner came here for our anniversary and it was such a delightful experience. He has various food allergies (our main concern being a mild dairy allergy) that we made light of in our reservation. When we arrived staff asked questions and were extremely kind and accommodating about the whole thing. Our table was beautiful, the food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. We would love to visit again! Thank you.

I might have dropped the silverware twice, but the bartender made sure that I was still looking good for my date. Unbeatable food and amazing staff. Christa was fantastic! Thanks for taking care of us!

Our waitress was amazing and so sweet! It was our anniversary dinner date and there was a couple who was sitting directly behind us that were arguing and making everyone in our area uncomfortable they went at it for about 25 minutes before I asked our waitress to move us, it was our anniversary and we didn't wanna spend it listening to a couple argue. Eventually they left, I was just surprised that they weren't asked to leave, especially at such a nice restaurant. The food tasted fantastic but now my fiancé and I have food poisoning unfortunately.

Loved the waygu dinner entree. We were sad they were all out of the meatball appetizer but the bacon wrapped dates were delicious! I feel like our waitress was not the best with attentiveness (drinks being refilled) or being informed about the menu because she wasn't able to answer our questions very well about the menu.

Fabulous food, friendly servers (Krista!) and a very at-home, cozy yet very roomy atmosphere. Feels like you are visiting your gourmand friend at their eclectic country vacation house.

They need to cook the duck A little longer. I think it was still uncooked usually they’re spot on but this time it was weird. I love the food. It tasted fine and I love the place the beautiful place to visit, but I go home after each time. I eat the duck I usually I’m fine but this time I had diarrhea like crazy the duck was not cooked enough. That’s the only explanation that was the only thing l ate

We used to absolutely love this place. The past 3 times we have been in they are put of items on the already very slim menu and now the prices are through the roof. Sad but we won't be back.

My husband and I just had the absolute best time there! Our waitress was on point, kind and friendly. She gave us great suggestions. I'm pretty sure there isn't a single thing on the menu that isn't absolutely delectable! We had the dates, which were the perfect precursor to a melt in your mouth steak. We got to meet the owner and head chef and let them know what they have going is definitely worth a 5 star review. We can't wait to go back and attend their wine night! Can't recommend them enough!

If you're a believer in "word of mouth" advertising and the impact it can have on a business then listen up. Full disclosure i have yet to eat at this place so my review is strictly hearsay. The Cast Iron is a hidden gem the food is next level the ingredients are fresh and the executive chef is a beast in the kitchen. The atmosphere is chill and the staff is on point. The cocktails fit the establishment perfectly, also prepared with fresh ingredients. The prices are a bit higher than your typical chain restaurants but people don't mind it as the premium ingredients are what sets them apart from the competition. If what you seek is a fine dining experience the Cast Iron is the spot.

The Cast Iron on 17th is one very unique restaurant and now one of my favorites in town.
The restaurant itself is in a very old farmhouse, and the decor is something that you’ll have to see for yourself to understand when I say it is something you’ve never quite seen before. Still, it has a soft atmosphere that is unbothered and unrushed.
The service is great. Our waiter was very attentive and was able to answer all of our questions easily, and also offered information about the dishes without even being asked. He did break a couple of dishes throughout the evening, but was very professional and laughed it off. This place truly gives off easy-going vibes that is welcoming to all who come within its doors.
The food we had was amazing. Every side, dessert, entrée, or appetizer was carefully prepared and made intentionally to bring out as much flavor as possible. When you arrive, you get served a piece of toasted focaccia bread along with a sauce? Or is it a gravy? Whatever this liquid is, it is amazing to dip your focaccia in. I chose to have the mushroom soup with my entrée and it was very flavorful and very tasty with whole little mushrooms in the soup. If you are someone who doesn’t like mushrooms, I would recommend trying this so that you would promptly change your mind about mushrooms. It was very delicious. My wife got the pear salad. I think we both weren’t expecting it to be a literal pear that was the salad and instead of a salad that had pear on it, but regardless, my wife absolutely loved it. Well I thought it tasted very unique but OK enough. You have to admire how they plated the pear salad. I ordered the aged ribeye in butter and bone marrow that came along with mashed potato and sweet green beans. The green beans were maple flavored and tasty and decent enough. The mashed potatoes had a bunch of different flavors going on with it and it was very good. As for the steak itself, I ordered it medium rare and I have to say hands-down it is the BEST steak that I’ve ever had and I’ve had a number of steaks at restaurants and I can also cook a pretty good steak myself. However, this steak I crowned it the best. It was so flavorful, so juicy. The butter and bone marrow complemented it so well. My wife ordered the Wagyu steak. She got it rare and it came pre-cut. Along with the steak came a meticulously made square chunk of potato made up of slices that was so flavorful. The flavor of potato was so intense and very good. Her dish also came with I believe a cauliflower sauce that was smeared along the plate. Overall, the food was amazing.
The Cast Iron on 17th may be a place that you go only for celebrations or if you’re lucky and can afford it, a restaurant that you can go very often. However, when you do go, I know you will have an amazing time. I recommend the Cast Iron on 17th.

My wife and I ate at Cast Iron a couple weeks ago. Very impressed with the service and food. The best duck I’ve had prepared.
