The best appetizer was always the bacon dates. They were in the perfect individual bites and the taste was perfection. Now they clump them all together and you hope your bite has a bit of everything like the way it used to be. We have made it our anniversary tradition to go here since we moved here two years ago. The food is really good.

The Cast Iron Grill on 17th Street in Idaho Falls is hands down one of the best fine dining spots in town. We've celebrated our wedding anniversary here every year for the past five yearsāand for good reason.
This time, we started with the ahi tuna with cranberry sauceāan unexpected combo that completely works. The freshness of the tuna paired with the tangy-sweet cranberry is a flavor bomb. Next came the bacon-wrapped dates, which were rich, savory, and absolutely addicting.
Some of out favorites have been beenTomahawk aged ribeye, cooked to medium rare perfection. The meat was tender, flavorful, and juicy, enhanced beautifully by the truffle mushrooms and caramelized onions. Itās the kind of meal you remember for months. The Pork Chop is so freaking good, puts grandma to shame, in fact, grandma deserves this, take her out to try it.
Desserts are always door stoppers
The ambiance is cozy yet upscale, you can tell that they have really put a lot of time and effort into decorating this place each chair has its own velvet decor separate from the other chairs and it makes it very unique and inviting. The staff is always welcoming and attentive., and the more you come in the more they treat you like close family.
Cast iron grill also helps support local community I know for a fact that they donated and helped three teens to camp this year for Young Life. Their donations will be treasured for a lifetime.
Whether it's your first visit or your fifth, Cast Iron Grill continues to impress. Highly recommend for a romantic evening or any special celebration.

Waitress was phenomenal. This is an eclectic place with unique decor. They have gone through many menu changes. Depending when I've gone depends whether it's good or not. They used to have a bang bang shrimp that was amazing but it's gone and then the steak options are better now with different toppings to choose from but really expensive for what you get compared to a Jakers or Sandpiper. Our steak was well done when asking for medium rare and at $60 that's tough as this type/level of restaurant should be well versed in temping a steak. Also, added kids options so that's good just $16 for chicken strips and fries so really expensive. Meals used to come with a salad option but that's gone. The bread they bring out is really good with the sauce as long as it's crispy baked fresh bread. May not hurt too look at menu before you go as we've done as it's the factor for us.

It was my birthday dinner. Had the dry aged ribeye. 4.5 on it. First one was good but not what I ordered. Second one was perfect therefore the 4.5. The cream beef dipping sauce for the perfectly done garlic toast was perfect. Server was awesome very knowledgeable on the menu. Actually taught me a few things. My brother is a chef. I myself have worked under some great chefs. They did us right. Donāt let the prices scare you. If they do you donāt know quality food. Loved the relaxed atmosphere. Great place excellent service.

Food was top notch steaks cooked to perfection, tasted amazing!!! Drinks were perfectly mixed and not under or over alcoholed!! Waitress christa, and bartender were fabulous!!! Definitely the best place steaks and drinks we've had!!!
Me and my partner came here for our anniversary and it was such a delightful experience. He has various food allergies (our main concern being a mild dairy allergy) that we made light of in our reservation. When we arrived staff asked questions and were extremely kind and accommodating about the whole thing. Our table was beautiful, the food was amazing, and the service was exceptional. We would love to visit again! Thank you.

Our waitress was amazing and so sweet! It was our anniversary dinner date and there was a couple who was sitting directly behind us that were arguing and making everyone in our area uncomfortable they went at it for about 25 minutes before I asked our waitress to move us, it was our anniversary and we didn't wanna spend it listening to a couple argue. Eventually they left, I was just surprised that they weren't asked to leave, especially at such a nice restaurant. The food tasted fantastic but now my fiancƩ and I have food poisoning unfortunately.
