Our 90 year old mother passed away and we are from out of town. We were looking for a place to have our family share a meal and visit after the funeral. Thomas set us up with a private room that they offer to grieving families. We were so grateful for their wonderful service and the delicious food. We had about 30 people yet it was a big enough room we could have had 40. We stayed as long as we needed. Thank you.

The Boise location is subpar. Staff is friendly. The food is bland and some items are not edible. People rave about the fried chicken but we’ve never had that experience. Hardly any batter/crunch. You get better chicken at Albertsons! It’s like the cooks don’t put in a lot of effort to make sure patrons walk away feeling full and satisfied. 2/5 stars.
One of the best buffets I’ve been to aesthetically. Great selection of food, good quality all around and being cleaned and refilled often. Selection may be a bit larger at another national buffet chain, but this place does what it does at a high level. Waitstaff are attentive and warm and welcoming. Floor plan layout can lead to a bit of chaos getting around, but it’s manageable Need this chain further west!
Went there twice during visit food selection was good and tasty also had a to go option which was very convenient.

The food was mediocre, and the service was great. The sliced ham, turkey, and beef were very good. But stay away from the dressing. The corn on the cobbler was really fresh.

Excellent salad bar perhaps the best in town. Great rolls. Great place to take the grandkids. Desserts are wonderful too. I particularly like the apple crisp ?

I came back here to edit my review from a few years ago. After going back a few more time and becoming more of a local, this place grew on me. Compared to other restaurants like this, I can see now how it's actually better, just takes some getting used to. The variety isn't SUPER awesome, but it's more than enough and I can see how it's has less a chain vibe. So, give it a few tries if you don't like it the first time. :)
Previous review - One star. Sub par food, not good quality or taste. Place was maintained by what seemed like a bunch of high schoolers who were more concerned with socializing than paying attention to cleanliness and presentation. Money better spent elsewhere.
