We ordered their family meal (Ohana Meal for up to six people) with rice, salad, and steak. The cashier didn’t really seem to know the answers to some of the questions. (did not know if we could get salads with the meal, even though the menu overhead said you could).

The meal came with about eight ice cream scoops of white steamed rice, thinly sliced beef, garden salads, and packets of salad dressing. Drinks were extra. The meat was tender, marinated, and lightly grilled. Everything tasted good.

I was disappointed with the military discount.

On the receipt, the military discount reads as “10% local hero”. However, even though my subtotal was $86.94 there was only a $1.50 discount. Obviously, 10% should’ve been $8.69 but I guess the math doesn’t add up that way for this Hawaiian style business?

For our family of 5 the family meal with a drink broke down to about $17.80 per person. We could’ve gone out to several other restaurants with higher quality meals for that amount.

In my opinion, if you’re just looking for some basic food, there’s better than mo bettahs.

We ordered a Ekolu Plate with all chicken Katsu and this is the amount of chicken that we received on this plate. In previous orders, this is the amount of chicken that I have gotten with a regular plate and a teriyaki chicken together. I don’t know for what reason it wasn’t up to standards tonight but this plate was meant to feed three people and with the amount of chicken that wasn’t possible. Tried to post a picture, but it won’t let me

Honestly I hadn’t been here in years but had been thinking of going and trying it again and I’m pretty sure they upped their game because it was way better than I remember it being. I tried the pulled pork, Teri steak and Teri chicken. Loved all of it. Will definitely be going back with way less time in between visits as last time.

I got some food tonight and the noodles where mushy and the rice was to I couldn’t eat it i love there food but tonight’s was really disappointing

I ordered food for the superbowl and I saw a 10% off coupon. I wasn’t able to apply it online so I showed it to them when I went to pick up my food in Ammon. They wouldn’t do anything about it. Just kept making excuses about why they couldn’t help me. If you’re going to offer a coupon then you should honor it.

Food was lukewarm and overpriced. $20+ for a plate with only two small servings of lukewarm beef is highway robbery.
