We had Mrs. Powell's make a Wedding "Cinnamon Roll Cake" for our daughter's wedding and it was a HUGE hit! The Bridee and Groom are not cake people but they LOVE cinnamon rolls so this cake was perfect! It was beautiful and of course, it tasted awesome!
They were great at communicating our requests and following through with bringing our ideas to life! (Keep in mind that I am from Wisconsin, so I wasn't able to be in the store to discuss face-to-face.) I highly Recommend Mrs. Powell's Bakery and look forward to using them again.

What happened? The cinnamon rolls and caramel nut rolls used to be so good ands such a treat! I can go to Albertsons and pay 1/3 of the price and get a cinnamon roll just as good. So disappointed with the changes. I went be going back. Nothing special about this place anymore.

Stopped to get some items before Christmas and was disappointed with the selection (no bread, no rolls, no more sandwiches). When I asked when they would have more bread, I was told they only bake bread once per week! What kind of bakery only bakes bread once a week?!? Also, they only had a cheap, old looking, dried out sample of each of their cinnamon rolls. All the display cases were empty. The only person there to wait on customers had to go in the back to box up the requested items. The entire experience was underwhelming and disappointing. The cinnamon rolls were good, but are much smaller than they used to be and are stupidly expensive. Overall, wouldn't recommend.

Bakery products are generally good. Three stars for pricing. Pricing is crazy. White bread loaf-$8! They trick you on the day old rolls. If you buy a half dozen rolls fresh, you get 20% off the regular price of $30, ($24). These aren’t the large rolls! But, if you buy the advertised 50% off day old product, they take 50% off the regular price rather than the regular “discounted” half dozen price. Really confusing. I hate when businesses play games like this. And if pricing was more realistic, they probably wouldn’t have day old product!
