If you want an amazing mom and Pop style American fair restaurant this is it. We were passing through here on our way up to crater of the moon and they had amazing food. It was quiet. We were the only ones in the restaurant and yet we were very surprised by how good everything was. Clearly, a small town hidden secret. We ordered their chicken fried steak and it was amazing with their scones. Also, their soup of the day was top-notch.

Pickles place was full so we came here. The food was much better here at Golden West than at Pickles! The staff was amazingly friendly. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. All in all this was a better experience than Pickles.

Sign on the wall, “Nobody that’s eaten here has died”. I told them I’d let them know if I do. Y’all stop by for pie. It was purdy good.

Some of the best food in Arco, Idaho. The soups are homemade and delicious. The main dishes are cooked to order, delicious and plentiful. Our server was quick, attentive and a pleasure to deal with. I would highly recommend this establishment. You won't be disappointed.

Stopped here on a road trip, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was.
Bread pudding is amazing!! My grandparents and I stopped here for lunch driving back to Oregon. I can’t speak for the food because I wasn’t hungry when we stopped but if you’re looking for a sweet treat, get the bread pudding!!! Probably the best I’ve ever had!

Do not eat here. I recommend pickles place instead. Ordered a ribeye. Completely under cooked. I'm sorry but if it's ordered as a medium steak, then cooked as a medium rare that's your bad. I called to let them know so I could get it fixed and word for word "I don't gaurentee my food or steaks" if you cant gaurentee your product or service, you shouldn't be in business!
