I'm writing this review as a super fan of Crossroads Express's teriyaki chicken bowls, handmade by Kay. Those bowls were THE BOMB! Flavorful, fresh, and honestly, I looked forward to grabbing one every time I stopped by.
Fast forward to today, and I find out they've discontinued them. WHAT?! No warning, no explanation, just GONE. Huge letdown, guys. I've been loyal to Crossroads Express for years, but this move has me rethinking my loyalty.
Crossroads without teriyaki bowls is like a completely different business, but in the worst possible way. It is the tech bro version of a gas station now — bland, hollow, charisma-free — and pretending it made a smart “business decision.” No, Crossroads — you made a boring decision.
The teriyaki bowls were the singular redeeming reason to pick YOUR gas station over literally any other gas station in a 20 mile radius. Without them, Crossroads is now just Another Generic Gas Station. There is nothing special left. Every corporate chain gas station is basically running the same vending-machine brain and you chose to become one of them.
Your brand is now “gasoline, windshield wiper fluid, and sorrow.”
Your store now has the same emotional value as a waiting room chair at the DMV.
This is what happens when a place chooses mediocrity on purpose.
You removed the one thing that was not mediocre.
Bring back the teriyaki bowls.
Otherwise, Crossroads should just rename itself to Dead End.

Very friendly and courteous place.
Lots of snack choices. Coke and Pepsi!
Can't believe it cost me $17.73 for two 16oz Monsters and a couple breakfast sandwiches. They need to advertise their prices better, total ripoff.
Just wish there was ONE gas station in ATHOL that was open 24/7!
I have a head cold & feel like crap. Super 1 didn’t have much that I could eat (I’m diabetic) & didn’t want to cook. They were also out of the ZOA energy drinks that I like. Went to the gas station for a hot dog. Ended up with some amazing cheese curds instead. They sell ZOA! The cashier was amazing! She was working on her day off but was so friendly & helpful. She made my day so much brighter!!!
Just got gas

This place has bomb fiesta poppers!Unfortunately when asked to have certain items ready when returning for lunch and they neglected to have ANYTHING we asked for. Gave me a really bad taste in my mouth. Like why would you intentionally NOT have what a handful of people asked for.So much money y'all loosing by being unwilling to accommodate customersPffft
