Drive an hour to this place and was surprising my family with lunch on the water and then a hike through the park. Google and their website both listed their hours as open and we got there, completely empty, doors locked, no lights on. Super disappointing. I've noticed a few local places don't bother to update their hours on Google or their website - extremely frustrating.

Had a lovely lunch at this charming floating restaurant. Will definitely go again!

Lake House Bar and Grill brings much appreciated great food and fine beverages to Bayview. Definitely worthy of a girl's get together, meeting up with family or a nice meal before or after a lake cruise. Or you can belly up to the bar, also with a view.Servers are knowledgeable and capable. Grilled Chicken club with fried avocado, bacon and provolone was enjoyed by a few at my table. We also added some Sriracha mayo to dip our fries. My coconut shrimp met my craving well, crunchy and coconutie. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed the spicy jalapeño burger. The adapt bartender twisted up some delicious lemon drops and a few made with huckleberry. The orchid was was a wonderful touch. Dessert was strawberry float cake. Hard to explain, but a must try! A nice finish to our meal.

The nachos … oh dude! Handcut potato chips topped with cheese, sour cream and salsa! So good!

We ended up getting there close to closing time (unaware!) and the server assured us we could still get orders in. She was amazing and the food was just what we needed after a long day on the water. Truly a gem in Bayview!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My family and I had to wait 2 hours for our food. I understand being short-staffed, but they needed to stop seating people and taking orders if they couldn’t keep up. When our food did arrive it was stale and gross. Hate leaving a bad review but this was the worst restaurant experience I’ve had in a very long time.

Fun little place on the water. Food was good and service was excellent. We will be back next year!
