They were hired for a company event. Meals were preboxed, BBQ sauce was like water just soaked into bun as it sat in the to go box. Mac and cheese didn't have any cheese flavor tasted like plain pasta didn't eat the beans. The pulled pork was ok kind of fatty at least on mine. Good thing I wasn't paying for it. As a trained cook I give it a 2. And they weren't wearing gloves while handling food.

Portions nice, food was excellent. Not good for vegetarians. The place is still in process of becoming a destination location, it is a little run down as far as restroom goes. But friendly and good food!

We were blessed enough to get a pound of pulled pork and it was delicious. It is definitely worth looking for their food truck in Lava Hot Springs!!

Great Smoked BBQ at a reasonable price. Our group had Ribs, Brisket, and sausage. Sides of baked beans, coleslaw, macaroni and cheese. Everyone enjoyed their selections. Cornbread was included with plates and it was excellent.

Really the only BBQ place in town and it's good, but I do wish they had more than one sauce and didn't use that sauce on everything. It just makes all the meat taste exactly the same, but if you get the sauce on the side it's great

It's usually one of my favorite treat spots but the food has been a little hit or miss lately. Last visit everything was delicious. Today my sandwich(Hawaiian)was cold and all I could taste was tomato in the beans.
I was very happy to find this gem of a BBQ place while traveling through town.

The meat must have been cooked in the morning and not only wasn’t hot but bordering cold. The Mac and cheese wasn’t warm either and was very old. I asked the girl at the counter if she could heat up my meat and they had no way to do it. I also asked if I could switch the macaroni and cheese for something else because it was old and dry and she told me no. I told her it seemed really old and she told me that it was fresh and that they had cooked it an hour ago. Fresh Mac and Cheese in my mind is maybe good for 10-20 minutes max. I would give this restaurant a zero if I could. If the meat were hot I could see myself rating this restaurant a one. Oh, and the apple crisp was disgusting. This place was converted from an old gas station to a restaurant but the quality of food never made the conversion.
