A local favorite buffet serving good hometown Chinese cuisine.Dietary restrictions: Hong Kong Gardens recently posted their gluten free options. I am not gluten free and I am sorry to say didn't pay much attention to the offerings. I do remember being surprised by the length of the list.

I have only had the buffet and only for lunch. Some buffet items are pretty good. They are all better when the have just arrived from the kitchen. Very plain atmosphere.

I go there for 2 main reasons. Number one is I love the egg fu young!Number two, the tapioca pudding is phenomenal for mass produce. It's not just vanilla pudding with a little bit of tapioca in it. It's good! They do have great other food. Also I always fill up what I'm there!

I FINALLY FOUND GOOD CHINESE FOOD IN IDAHO!!I had all but given up, and then we decided to start trying outside of IF!! And not only was the food AMAZING, they had very affordable prices, it was clean and the staff was amazing!! It was definitely worth the drive :) My daughter is already wanting to make it our family birthday dinner spot!!I highly recommend.Kid-friendliness: Definitely kids friendly and the staff was very helpful and kind.

The host handed us the menu and said pick a seat. Then had to ask to order a meal for 2 . Recieved our platters of food had to ask for dinner plates. They brought our pork and seeds last. The the owner pulled up some of the bench seats across from us and wanted his employee to vacuum the trash under the bench seat. I ask the employee to wait till we left. He did. That was enough boxed the paid and left.Never to return againParking: Nothing.

Bad service, pork and seeds came out after the meal. Warm water. Everything that could go bad did. Will not return.

The buffet actually looks pretty decent. However, I was there to pick to-go. The absolute worst food I have ever eaten, crab rangoon was filled with “onions?!?”, and a smidge of cream cheese- all in a “puffed pastry?!?, egg rolls, had some sort of “meat” but no rice, or vegetables—- the egg roll was just a clump of meat and deep fried in the “puffed pastry. And how in earth do you mess up fried rice?!?— no egg or vegetables— it was literally white rice with some bits of “ham” in it….. the most tasteless, weird concoction of food. And we paid $36 Absolutely awful

Always start positive. I really like their noodles! Other than that, the potstickers were cold, the sauces in all of the buffet dishes (except for the General's chicken) just looked either too light or wrong in color. There was no hot and sour soup, the inside of the crab rangoons barely had any cream cheese and the egg rolls are battered over the skin and see fries like a monte crispy sandwich. Just not good eats. I'm thinking that people in the area have never been to a truly good Chinese buffet so they think this is normal.

This was our best experience to date, help was kind, food was hot, nobody made fun of me for my kids acting-up.Took entire family, most of us had buffet, it was well stocked tonight. Will return.Returned and enjoyed dinner, they have a help wanted sign hanging in the window. But we didn't have to wait at all on a Friday evening
