Mexican? More like mexi-CANT. If I could give 0 stars I would. This was our second time coming here after a disappointing first experience with dinner, we decided to give it another try with the breakfast everybody had been raving about. The only good thing about this place was the service. we were very disappointed. The breakfast menu has ONE Mexican option, so I took my chances on it and regretted it. The huevos rancheros were served on oil-soaked tortillas and with some lame excuse for salsa served over it. On the side, was crunchy seasoned rice and bland beans. Everything tasted like it had come out of a can. On the bright side, I did order a pancake with an egg on the side, which were very good. But over all, this is nothing close to authentic, and I don’t recommend for people who are looking to have tasteful Mexican food.

We thought we would give Melina’s a try for breakfast. YES, they now serve breakfast items. Sure glad we did. From the moment the few of us (few different groups) walked in, we all were greeted with a friendly hello and smile from a female waitress. Everyone was told to seat themselves. Not long after we all did, a gentleman came and took our drink orders. He too was great. Very friendly.

$8.99~ “gabbys special” 2 pancakes (fluffy and yummy), hashbrowns, toast, 2 eggs and choice of meat- ham/sausage/bacon. She chose bacon and received 3 slices.

half order of french toast (bacon, eggs and hashbrowns from above order was enough to be split with me).
My daughter loves churros and asked for one. I told our female waitress (wish I would have got her name) and she informed me that they don’t start making them until after 11:00 (when their lunch starts). I told her that was fine as I am sure we will still be there. She mentioned it to the cook that we wanted one and he said he would go ahead and do it at that time. (We did not have to wait the 20 mins until 11:00). Very much appreciated!!
Very clean building and again, the staff was wonderful. All were friendly and very welcoming to everyone I saw arriving before and after we did. Already planning our next breakfast visit. 💜

Terrible. Worst Mexican food we've had. Taco salad had very very little meat. The shell was way over done. Chips were good, but salsa in ketchup bottle? Looked like watery tomato sauce, and was flavorless. Cheese enchiladas were flat and basicly empty. Was that canned enchilada sauce?
Looked like a cheap diner. Zero Mexican atmosphere.
We were disappointed all the way around. Sorry, you were better in the old place, a long time ago.

We went and ordered a enchilada and no taste or flavor. There was 4 of us and we all felt the same. Sorry to give a bad review because we really wanted it to be good because we took out of towners. The salsa was just no flavor at all. The food had no taste and a soda was 4.00. I was shocked! They never came over for a refill not once. Sorry to say we will never go back. Was disappointed in the lack of absolutely no decorations. Just table and chairs and could be so cute!
