I did not expect to find a place like this in Blackfoot, ID. The atmosphere was comfortable, the service was great, the menu was diverse, and all the food tasted great.

The portions were small in comparison to the price. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms and when we received them they were very small, and there were only 9. I've always gotten stuffed mushrooms from other restaurants that were large not tiny they were about the size of a quarter I was expecting them to be the size of silver dollar or larger plus they weren't even breaded I don't know about this but but stuffed mushrooms have always been stuffed and breaded then deep-fried . I know this because I have worked behind the grill in many restaurants as a line cook.Plus my wife had the Oriental chicken salad and she had mentioned that the chicken was overcooked and dry, I thought it looked like old chicken myself but it had sauce on it. I had the fish and fries and the fish reminded me of fish sticks they need to use bigger pieces of fish.I didn't want to pull out my phone and take pictures because we were having dinner with a friend who we took there for their birthday and didn't want to embarrass him by taking pictures of our dinner and ruining the experience for him.Me personally I feel restaurants today have raised prices and reduced the amount of food they serve and expect everyone to be satisfied with it,They need to give people better quality of food and service to match what they pay for. Growing up I remember they used to serve a dinner roll with dinner but not any more.Other people may have accepted this but in reality all restaurants have lost what it means to have a great dinning experience when they go out to eat.Sorry Tommy Vaughan's for taking the brunt of my rage for dinner experience going down hill but perhaps you can become a leader in bringing back what it means to have a great time going somewhere and having a good time eating and not just a place to just eat.

I had the mozzarella burger with fries. It was delicious. I also had a raspberry lemonade that appeared to have fresh blended berries in it. It was very refreshing and tasty. My waitress was attentive and friendly. I liked the laidback country style atmosphere.Parking: There is parking on two sides of the building.Kid-friendliness: Saw some kiddos dining in the restaurant. There is a kid menu with foods like chicken tenders on it.

Tasty food every time we go, staff is always attentive, owners also ensure everything tastes right.Chicken fried steak is quite tasty.Chicken cordon bleu is good.One of my kids likes to order the Fettuccine Alfredo.The wings are good too.

Good food just pricey, gets a little busy at times especially being a bar and grill. The service is ok sometimes they forget an order and you have to remind them but I don't blame them because it does get super busy. I do like to come here because it's got a great atmosphere and good food.

I had never heard of Tommy Vaughn's, but I got a gift card, so my wife and I tried it out. It was amazing! We ordered the idaho nachos, and they were one of the best appetizers I've ever had! I also ordered the bacon and Bleu burger. It was the perfect amount of bleu cheese. I've already raved to my family and friends, but now I encourage everyone to go. If you love good food, give them a try!

I really like the hand battered fish and chips.Has a great happy hour. 2-5pm bogo on drafts is great dealIn a time when everyone else menu prices skyrocketed TV has stayed consistent.You know you are in the right place when the owner (Tyler) is bussing tables and checkin on each table.Eat here when in Blackfoot. It’s solid..everywhere else mediocre at best.
